Love this place! Very reasonable prices and the staff is always friendly. The fresh strawberry jam is a favorite of ours. They also have a fantastic fish fry on Wednesday and Friday’s.

We came here for the fish. Some of our family had the fish fry and said it was excellent. They weren’t kidding. We arrived a party of 5 and 2 small kids during dinner time. The place is small so we waited outside on the benches until our table was ready. It was about 5 minutes and we were seated. The waitress was prompt and attentive. She took our order and doted over my 2 year old nephew.
Our order was up pretty quickly for as many people as were there. I got 2 large pieces of fish that were deep fried to a perfect golden brown. The fish was tender and the batter was crispy. It was not over or under cooked. My baked potato was perfect. The dinner rolls were homemade and just out of the oven, soft and warm so the butter melted right in.
This was a good experience my in-​laws led me to. No family feud today.

This is a great place to go for a weekend breakfast or a bite to eat on a day off. My husband and I went here on a whim and enjoyed it. The homemade jam is tasty and if you don’t want yours, send it my way! The place is small and the staff is friendly.

If you’re in Janesville and you’re looking for that great little mom and pop joint, this is it.
Good service, great food, I’ve never been disappointed.
Thing only negative thing that I can say about this place is that their tap water is, well, bad. I haven’t been able to drink a glass of it yet. So make sure you get anything else to drink.
Then you can enjoy the variety of the menu. And don’t miss out on their homemade breads and strawberry preserves. They are incredibly good. My girlfriend goes as far as saying that their bread and preserves are better than bacon. Now, I don’t agree or indorse this, but there are very good nonetheless.
Hands down, this is the best breakfast place I’ve been to in Janesville, and I think I’ve been to nearly every one by now.
