Bellasazi Spa & Salon

The salon atmosphere is nice. I really like getting my hair cut and my eyebrows waxed with Megan. I’ve also gotten a spray tan and a massage here which were good. I think they could do a better job with the spa area by creating a lounge/​sitting area where people could relax with a cup of tea pre and post massage.

I called a week ago for a hair cut and was able to get a same day appointment. The receptionist was very friendly. I arrived and was greeted warmly and offered a beverage. Jozi took me right away. She was friendly and precise from consultation through finishing touches and I was very pleased. I new to town and a hair stylist myself and have to say this place is fantastic. Good products, good atmosphere, and great service.

This was my first time getting a service here. I had purchased a Groupon and decided to go today. When I called you make the appointment I was told that I could upgrade to the Spa Facial for just $ 10 so I did. I booked with Jozie and arrived early as they asked.
Jozie came out promptly and had everything all ready too go. It was such a relaxing facial. The only time she asked any questions was to confirm my upgrade. She took time and care with each step. She made sure I left happy, relaxed and with no product left on my face.
I can’t wait to go back.

This was my first spa experience in Janesville after moving to the area and I was really excited since it had received rave reviews from my local friends. I scheduled an acne facial, which the website lists as the only facial that offers extractions (weird…I know). I go in for my Saturday appointment and the place is a little off the beaten path but not too hard to find. The waiting area is nice, nothing crazy fancy, but comfortable.
My appointment was with Nicki. I don’t recommend her at all. After making product suggestions without even looking at my skin she spent an hour rubbing my face with plastic gloves on, messing up my hair, and banging around the dishes in the room. It was far from a relaxing experience. She didn’t do a single extraction, so I basically paid $ 70 to have someone wash my face for an hour. When she said we were done, I got up and looked in the mirror. Luckily I had a hairbrush with me or I would have left the place looking like the Bride of Frankenstein. I get in my car and look in the mirror only to realize I still have some stuff smeared on the side of my face. Great…
I might go back since it is supposed to be one of the better spas in Janesville, but I will make a point to request anyone but her.

Overall — it has a nice ambiance and décor. You are offered tea, water, cider or coffee upon arrival.
Hair Cut — Stylist washed my hair first and then cut it. I have naturally curly hair, which many stylists cannot cut well. She did a pretty good job.
Improvements — they should have hooks or a stand to hang purses. I had to set mine on the floor. Also, their cleaning people were cleaning and I think for a spa/​salon where ambiance is important, this should be done after hours.
Facial — I had the spa facial. The hand/​foot massage felt very nice.
Improvements — get rid of the ticking clock. It ruined the mood. Also, get rid of the buzzing timer. I know there must be silent timers that ding once when time is up.
Plan for 1hr and 30 minutes. I was told an hour and normally would be happy if it was longer, but that day I had to be somewhere and was late.
