Ray is quite frankly«a Godsend». We had a shady pool builder for our pool and nothing ever worked right, the pool never looked clean despite a boatload of money trying to do it ourself. We have had Ray service our pool for several months now and what a difference it has made. It clean, clear and I no longer have to worry. Best money I have spent in a long time. Ray is honest and trustworthy and knows pools… I highly recommend him.

We had Ray come to purify our pool. Before Ray came our pool was a mess and we couldn’t get any of the chemicals to work. We had never emptied our pool in 15 years or had the water purified so it was time to do so. First of all, Ray was easy to connect with. I left a message on his voice mail and he called me back promptly. He was always friendly and was patient about explaining the process to me. I thought his rate was reasonable and more than competitive. The only thing I would say to be prepared for is the wait. Because there are really only 2 companies around that do this there is a waiting list to have it done. So, if you think you need it don’t hesitate to call Ray. We were very happy with the pool after it was done and have had no problems regulating the chemicals ever since he left. I would definitely recommend Ray’s Pool and H2O Purification. Good guy, honest, and did a great job! Kathy

Ray’s H20 Pool Filtration is awesome for pool owners. Ray Johnson owns both his pool service company & the filtration company. He was originally referred to me first by Bruce Wettstein of Pool Services Technologies in North County, and also by my local Leslie’s Pool Supplies. A month ago, I did three separate water analyses to confirm I had high TDS in the pool with terrible water chemistry: high salt at 5,000 ppm, high calcium at 4,800& high phosphates. All this meant the pool had hard water, calcium scaling on the tile & algae growth despite regular chlorine & shock treatments. Plus, the salt water chlorinator stopped working bc of the imbalance. I’m very happy with Ray’s pool filtration service. The process is a great way to conserve water. The cost is competitive with what our pool guy wanted to charge for draining($ 200), plus the municipal cost to refill a 15,000 gallon pool($ 200-$ 300). The process only took 14-hours instead of a few days. Plus, the water quality is superb since it’s charcoal filtered, UV’d then purified via reverse osmosis. After the filtration was done, the results were immediate & I could see the water was crystal clear. To maintain the necessary calcium & sodium levels in the pool, Ray didn’t filter the spa. So I ran the pool cleaner in the spa to remove the algae before circulating the spa water. After running the pool filter for a few hours, everything balanced out. The proof was in the pudding bc as soon as I was done cleaning & circulating, I took a water sample for a Leslie’s water analysis & the water chemistry was excellent: low salt at 1300 ppm, OK calcium at 290 ppm &OK phosphates at 100. I couldn’t recommend H20 Pool Filtration highly enough. The only downside is the high demand for the filtration service — I had to make my appointment a month ago! And now that summer’s arrived, the wait-time for an appointment is 3 months!
