Animal Hospital of Warwick

Absolutely love this place. I have never been disappointed with any visit whatsoever. I recently moved to the area and they happened to be the closest vet, and I definitely lucked out! I rescued a kitten a few weeks after moving here and he has been here about 6 times so far. The doctors absolutely love him and give him everything he needs and then some. They also call after every appointment to make sure we were satisfied. I had an issue with my kittens biting and the receptionist went out of her way to print out articles for us to read and found pet behavioral specialists in our area. There was also one time when I had an emergency and we were in the middle of a snow storm and the vet stayed late for us to make sure my kitten was. I highly recommend this place!

The people at Animal Hospital of Warwick are the best animal caretakers I have ever had in my entire pet-​owning life, hands-​down. Extraordinarily good at what they do, they are also kind, friendly, good-​humored, and compassionate. Linda Keon was my vet for 13 years, and knew my cat better than a pediatrician would know her pediatric patients, I swear. At 19 years (arguably, a pretty long life), when it was time to let my baby go, they helped me get through that agonizing decision, after caring for her through her progressing decline over several months. They loved my cat. I was also astonished to find, one visit, that they had written in my cat’s chart that I was also struggling with my youngest son leaving for college, and dealing with empty-​nest syndrome. They kept track of how I was dealing with it — I couldn’t believe it. After I had to let my angel kitten go, some 3 months later I acquired another cat from a shelter, and a month later, a second one. Linda followed me on Facebook and remarked how happy she was, saying that I «looked good in kitten.»
I loved going to the vet. I loved working with all of them. Their facilities were wonderful and spotless and didn’t «smell like animals.» I moved away from Jamison, but then I moved back, so they’re about to get a second dose of my pet ownership.
I’ve had pets and vets since the early 1970s, and they are hands down the best I’ve ever had.
