I came to this place months ago and was indifferent. They had good food but a strange atmosphere. I decided to wait a bit to write my review until they worked out the kinks. I finally went back in today and was blown away. The food was fantastic(just like abuela used to make) and the atmosphere picked up a lot. I got a pork/rice combo and empanadillas. The portions were huge! I got a lot of food for $ 12.00 and definitely will be back. If you like Puerto Rican style cuisine, give this place a try.

Really awesome, authentic Caribbean food priced well with friendly owners. Came for lunch and sampled two empenadas(beef and three meat), a delicious potato ball filled with meat and cheese and some delicious rice and beans! Try this place!

I saw the article about this new restaurant in the Post Journal on Jan 252015 and finally had a chance to stop in. Starting with a delicious Cuban coffee(in a 4 oz size since it was afternoon!) I was a fan. I sampled the red beans and rice which were as good as any Cuban restaurant I have visited in NYC or Miami. Located to the left of Lafayette furniture store, across the street from NAPA on 4th Street, there is parking right in front. Upbeat Caribbean music was playing when I walked in, and was greeted by friendly owner and staff. I look forward to another visit, and hope they have a successful venture bringing good Cuban food to Jamestown.
