My family always grabs a bottle of wine from here when we’re on our way to our cottage. The running naked red is sweet and always goes well with our dinner. I’ve only just recently ate here the past summer. My mother, aunt, and I had their cheese tray and two wood-fired pizzas. The cheese tray was absolutely delicious, but the pizzas fell flat. They weren’t worth the $ 12 per charge. Otherwise, it’s a very beautiful place. I love the fountain in the back, and the stage that is set up for live music inside. The last I saw they are also building on to it, but I’m not sure what they are adding.

Love love love. I stumbled upon it early this summer and have been back 3 times since then. The outside patio is great to sit, listen to the live music and enjoy the wine and scenery. You can order pizza snacks or cheese trays also. They are building on a microbrewery bar and it is supposed to be open this Fall. It’s a really cool place. Check it out.

Barn style winery located near Pymatuning state park. Wine tasting available with no cost. Unique in comparison to other wineries in this area which I do not think serve food. They also apparently have love music at different times but not when we were there in a Sunday afternoon. There is indoor and outdoor seating which includes 3 levels of patio and indoor seating. They are also still doing some additionally renovations at the time of this review. I thought the wine and food was decent with prices that were average to slightly overpriced for the product received. You can order at the bar and your order is brought out to you when it is ready. The appetizer was given to us immediately at the bar. Pizzas are thin crust and cooked in the wood fire grille. The White Pizza was flavorful and I would have this again. The Margherita Pizza was not what I expected and was kind of bland. I would suggest trying something else. Also, the«Gourmet Cheese Tray» consisted of a crumbled cheddar cheese, bread, grapes, salami, grapes, dipping oil and triscuits. White it was a very good size, it was also not was I expected. I thought it should have different types of cheeses and I don’t really consider triscuits gourmet. Overall a decent place if you are in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way just yet.

We’re VERY partial to this place as our summer cottage is only 5 minutes away so whenever we come up for the weekend, we try to stop here for a snack. The place is a beautiful restored barn from the 1930’s world expo(I think) and is set up perfectly. The wines are moderately priced, the food is a bit pricey(but what do you expect, it’s a winery) but no-one comes here for a 5 course dinner. They have live music all weekend from 3 – 6 and the place just feels ‘comfortable’- you can sit at low tables, high-tops, up in the loft, out on the deck, down in their patio… I wish this place was closer to our home(Pittsburgh) and we’d be here every weekend. Also– check out their website & FaceBook page for pictures– they have a bed-n-breakfast operating on the property with 2 rooms that is booked up for the next 3 years? but they’re building 3 more rooms for additional capacity. Very Old World look, in ground pool, beautiful countryside… Keep up the good work, Lago!!!

Great place to try great wines! The bar is located within the barn. There are 3 floors for drinking & enjoying wood fired pizzas. The wines are very good, especially the drier offerings. The pizzas pricey, small but made with quality fresh ingredients. Just this reviewers opinion that when the pizza is priced at $ 16 and up and you have customers coming to try the winery from all over — a larger pie would be appreciated by the patron. Also, do not advertise on the menu«Gourmet Cheese Tray» when what is served is Vermont Cheddar, domestic grapes, 3 slices of plain salami and 3 thin slices of bread and olive oil. That is a «Farmhouse Cheese Tray». You should really add artisan cheeses and prosciutto, several types of olives for it to be labeled gourmet. Go for the wines; at this point food needs more development. Sticking to the 2 offerings of food is a smart move. Just improve on size and elements of each. «Nick» behind the bar was gracious and accomodating on the tastings. But later in the day when the Saturday rush had passed, the older woman remained courteous and just as gracious at refilling our wine or getting us a glass of water. But a younger gal with very short hair made it obvious she was troubled by a request for waters and tired from the heat of the day. She was ready for her day to be done. Not something that welcomes an end of the day wine purchase for taking home. However, it must be said the gal pictured who was making the pizzas in the outside wood fired oven was so sweet. She took time to be very friendly, though hot, and explain the process. The grounds are being developed and are picturesque. The outbuilding where the copper tanks are, is going to be a centerpiece of the winery when finished. We will return and look forward to the development and improvement of this nice winery!
