Why I don’t go here more often is beyond me. Very classy old style restaurant that serves wonderful entrees that are all fresh prepared. Located one main street over from busy Fairmount Ave. on Hunt Rd. When you drive up, you’ll know you’ve arrived at someplace special. While casual dress is o.k.(It won’t feel right though.) Order an old time classic cocktail and a steak with a side of pasta.(And don’t forget the amazing desserts.) Probably tied with Forte and Jamestown’s best restaurant.

wonderful place. Great selection of food for fish eaters, service was great, staff very helpful in preparing 3 dinners with another to go when we were done. Worked well with us and a call in payment.

I’ve been going here for years and hands down the House of Petillo is consistently one of the very best restaurants in the Jamestown/Chautauqua Lake region. Not only is their food good, but the restaurant itself exudes with casual comfortable ambiance that immediately puts you at ease to enjoy a really good meal. To top that off, the wait staff is not only super friendly but top flight professionals in every respect. You’ll find the owner, Mark, always behind the bar and with his years of experience you’re guaranteed a decent drink custom mixed to your order. Believe me his father, who I knew and who established the House of Petillo, taught him well. Food wise, it’s of course Italian, with a wide range of pastas, steaks, veal, chicken, even a very good roast duck with orange sauce, fish and lobster. My favorite is to start with hors d’oeuvres of their in house recipe clams casino followed by a veal francaise or roast duck, but be sure to ask for the daily specials as they always have several fine choices.
