My previous review of this company was deleted I’m sure by the owner of this terrible TERRIBLE hair company. Paid for a 18 20 and 22 inch, and received a 18 20 and 20 inch. Not only was i pissed that I was sent the wrong hair, the hair was fried from top to bottom. Do not be fooled by the celebrity paid endoresment festured on their instagram. Please do not spend your hard earned money on this company when hair companies are a dime a dozen. Once they send it to you, they wash their hands of you. NEVER AGAIN.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Drove out to Queens to visit the shop and was barely greeted by the rudest salesperson. She had the Worst attitude I’ve ever experienced in a place of business period. Totally unwilling to help, hardly wanted to answer my questions and then said the total would be $ 450 for my purchase. Cool, no problem but solely based off her nasty attidude I didn’t want to spend my money there. Just disgusting

I recently purchased the Malaysian curly hair from them. I was a little leary of buying from this company being that I usually purchase from another company, which I’ve always been satisfied with. However, I decided to give vanity box a try, in an effort to save a few dollars. Well, what a waste of my money! I should’ve went with my instincts. This hair is the worst! It is extremely dry and becomes tangled very easily. I’m forced to wear it up in a bun or some type of huge twist because the minute I wear it down, it looks like a birds nest. It doesn’t feel lightweight at all. It’s very heavy. I’m afraid that this weave will be coming out way sooner than i anticipated. I’m just going to return back to the previous company I was using. I was always pleased with them. Please be cautious of buying from vanity box. This hair is no better than the cheap pack hair you get from the Korean beauty supply store. You get what you pay for.

Deserves no star this hair is beautiful for the first two weeks then out of no where it turns into your worst nightmare. It becomes dry, unmanageable, and stiff. It looks like a animal died on your hair. I rather buy beauty supply hair then this.

I really hate to give this negative review, but I have to share my experience. I ordered the Brazilian curly hair from the website. Customer service called me to let me know there was a delay on the hair, but I could pick it up at one of their locations in Queens. I called the location the next day and they said they had my hair on hold. However, once I saw it, I didn’t like the curl pattern so I asked if I could switch to the other style same length, amount and price. I didn’t take the hair out the store yet! The store manager said, «I was instructed no returns on this hair and I am the store manager.» I was shocked… seriously she was curt and very unhelpful. Whatever, I simply took the unwanted hair and said it is a shame I really liked shopping here. The customer service people were helpful and the other young lady in the store was nice, but the manager… I understand they have rules, but at least try to be cordial and make the customer happy.

I went here in August of 2013 to purchase hair for the first time. The staff was polite and helpful. I didn’t have to wait at all to be assisted. I wanted to get a package deal of four bundles, but they were out of one of the four lengths so the lady was nice enough to give me a $ 10 off coupon to use toward my next purchase.
This hair literally lasted me 6 months. For the first 4 months, the hair looked brand new so long as I wash it and condition bi weekly. I got compliments ALL the time. I was extremely happy with my purchase.

I’m not sure what the people of Jamaica Queens believe quality hair is! I purchase my hair from a private vendor and I will never go elsewhere. The customer service rep at Vanity box was sporting some fraud brazilian curly and it looked like she needed some wave nouveau up in that piece! If you cant represent your brand well… WHO WILL??? Go to Keevahair across the street. She’s realistic and very sweet. Better quality of hair… by far!!!

This location is very similar to the Brooklyn location, same décor, same friendly staff etc. It is located in Jamaica which is so much more convenient for me. I was a tad disappointed because they did not have one of the items I needed (18 inches of brazilian hair). They did let me know they had it in the Brooklyn store but that was too out of my way. I guess a store will not advertise when they don’t have a product so I don’t expect them to to announce it on IG or twitter lol, but I do wish they had it in stock. Next time, I will remember to call before I go. Overall, good experience. You get a coupon if you spend over a certain amount I think $ 270, so that was helpful.
