This store has been around for a long time(at least 15 years), so I have a lot of memories here. The place is small and somewhat dingy. When you enter the door, an amateur-sounding alarm goes off. The owner and his wife run everything here — from cashing and customer service to storage and security; but they are gentle and friendly. They will help you find anything when you enter. Though most of their items cost more than 99-cents, the prices are still great. Here, you can get two AA batteries for around $ 2; at the pharmacy a few blocks away, you have to pay around $ 10. I like their thorough supply of earphones and school supplies, which assisted me during my school days.
