I seriously love this place, from the pupusas to the Mexican torta it’s all delish. The staff and owner are all so friendly and attentive. You will not be disappointed, I try to come in here often because that’s exactly what they do, make you want to come back!

I love this little coffee shop for breakfast. Cheap and yummy food. Good for a quick sit down breakfast or grabbing a bagel and delicious coffee before jumping on the train.

Little hole in the wall luncheonette, but undeniably delicious; you know how these NYC hole in the wall places are lol. Awesome breakfast specials, with rock bottom prices. Another thing, the PUPUSAS… So DELICIOUS! I was pleasantly surprised since this place has more of a diner feel than an ethnic restaurant; Plus, you don’t see the pupusas on the menu. However, unlike the speediness of breakfast, it does come with a wait of about 10 – 15 mins when ordering but SOWORTH the wait! A friend had actually recommended me to try their pupusas out and it certainly did not disappoint. So good! Will be back for more when having another pupusa craving haha :)))

papusas are so good! I really like the beef rib soup too. it’s a nice clean, brothy and hearty soup. i wish they would advertise their more ethnic dishes. i think papusas are not on the menu.

Richie’s is one the only places that I know of where I can go to to satisfy my obsession with pupusas. The pupusas with pork and cheese are delicious! They cost $ 4 for 2 which is pretty cheap for the size of them. They come with a cabbage salad and tomato based sauce. They taste so amazing, so do yourself a favor and try them if you haven’t. The only downside is that the order takes almost 15 – 20 minutes to make, and so I normally call ahead and pick up. Also, I wish they stayed open later for dinner. I think they close at 7:30pm.

Honestly the worst experience I’ve had in NYC thus far. Apparently«Richie» or whatever the actual owners name is, told my friends to buy something or get out while we were deciding what we wanted to do. He kicked us out and then locked the door behind us even though they were not closed. Then he went back to the bar and continued eating, like the slob of man he is. NEVERGOHERE.

Very affordable. The food is delicious and fresh. My husband and I always order pupusas, which are corn patties filled with cheese, pork, or mixed(pork and cheese together). The omelets are made right in front of you by the fastest cook I have ever seen, Victor :-). Do try their French toast! They are soon good, you will feel tempted to order a second seeving. The place is small and always busy. If you want to have an awesome experience, go with plenty of time, just in case you need to wait for a table. But don’t worry, once you get your table, they will take care of you.

Mom and I used to stop in here routinely. We usually did one the the breakfast combos, the Chicken Parm or the chicken sandwich. Occasionally we’d treat ourselves to the delicious cheesecakes and coffee. The food is always great, the owner and staff are friendly and its got that cozy neighborhood diner feel while everything is racing outside. Great place to just relax and get ur grub on.

Great food but small space, so a lil bit of a wait for a table but there’s the bar…

Good little breakfast spot. Standard fare here; pancakes, french toast, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Staff is very friendly and the prices are what they should be. What I really liked was the cleanliness. Sometimes these corner coffee shops can fall into disrepair. Coffee was good too!

Family owned, small and quaint, this diner is perfect for your hangover breakfasts and lunches. The tortas are amazing, but my go-to order is breakfast food. Downsides– VERY crowded, which leads to a long delivery time or no seats. My advice? Call ahead, and be prepared to wait if you want service on a weekend.

This is a gem of a place! Good, quick service. Delicious food, especially the pancakes. Tastes like a home-cooked meal by Grandma. Affordable. Will continue to frequent this spot.

I love this place. It’s probably the best old fashioned luncheonette I’ve been to, due to the unquestionable genius of the short order cook, Victor. I come here for breakfast whenever I have an excuse to be here, and even sometimes when I dont

Great spot off the 169th Street F train on Hillside avenue. It is a great Coffee Shop with tasty delights and friendly service. Cuban sandwich is on point. Great spot for breakfast, pancakes got a special batter that is going to get me fatter. Spanish food is home-style leaving you ready to take a nap on the counter, I had to have a black coffee to get me going.

They have the best omelettes in the area!!! Love this little shop on the corner, my roomies and I have been going here for a couple years now whenever we want to catch up. The coffee is good, the omelettes are even better. I’ve also had the philly cheesesteak which wasn’t too bad either. Love the friendly staff and always promptly seated and served.

My first time in her and I loved it!!! Clean, sharp, bright, good service. The only thing was that a guy who looked homeless walked in and asked how much was the muffin 1.75 $ he walked out I then offered to pay it ad he accepted. The environment alone had me doing a good deed! *

Maybe I was expecting pupusas or tamales, but I walked in during lunchtime is a menu of about two handfuls of options, mainly sandwiches and burgers. There was one different option on the menu: a torta. So I ordered the torta. The atmosphere was a bit sad. Slow business. Some guy behind me talking about his psychiatrist. There was a whiteboard behind the counter with faded specials, doubtfully the specials for today. My torta came. It was a fried chicken cutlet with avocados, jalapenos and onions. I think I could have done well without the jalapenos and onions, but it was a freshly made torta that tasted pretty good. I wonder who Richie is.
