Mediterranean Grille

Great food!!! Good place to eat a little pricey but you get big portions. The service was decent. It’s was very convenient if you are staying at the Fairfeild.

They’re part of the Fairfield Inn JFK Airport which is quite different than most Fairfields. They’re open for the free breakfast and then open again in the evening as a full service restaurant and bar.
For breakfast, they had a nice selection of hot & cold foods including scrambled eggs, cereals, fruit and waffles. In the evening, they have a full dinner menu of entrees, sandwiches, wraps and appetizers — - all reasonably priced. I had the buffalo wings which were OK. Not much for breaded wings. The sauce was good, a nice subtle spice. Because of the breading and the size of the wings, it was quite filling. The beers are in bottles with a variety shown on the back of the bar. Not much diversity. Service was good.

It was the restaurant in the hotel we were staying in and we were so tired after a 8 hour flight to NY that we decided to eat there. We ordered Minestrone soup, Caprese Salad, and a burger. They were just ok. But the service was not that good. What made the place fun, was the cute little ladies sitting next to us on their way to South Africa to go on Safari.
Again, maybe it was just that we were tired and maybe had too high of expectations, but it was a hot meal and we did end up taking our wine to the room to finish for the evening. That was a cool perk of eating at the restaurant hotel.

The food is always top quality, my fries are always fresh. The rockaway club sandwich is always my favorite choice. Can’t say enough about the wait staff — attentive, helpful and always willing to talk. Glad to see the location is where it is.

Tasteless STEAK… dry chicken… poor lighting… your better off finding transportation elsewhere.

Steak was perfect med rare. Baked potato was cold. They had me move my potato to another plate so they could take it back while I finished steak. Potato became desert. Wow service like this won’t bring me back.

Pretty good considering it’s a hotel bar. My «perfect» manhattan was well made and the chicken marsala was quite tasty.

This restaurant is located in the Fairfield Inn, New York, JFK Airport. I drove in today and am leaving my car there for 21 days while I travel to Brazil. I stayed there once before and I’ve eaten in the restaurant before. It’s not great but it’s OK. This time I had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with my salad. I ordered a Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken breast, I substituted olives for the croutons, but they didn’t give me many olives. If I were rating this as an independent restaurant, It may not have gotten three stars. But as far as a free breakfast place and a pay for your meal restaurant at night it was OK.
