Mehhh for customer service. For people working in the travel/tourist industry, their personalities are very lack luster. Ask them what kind of donuts they have on sale. They are unsure and they say they don’t know… they don’t even try to assist in finding out… what a shame. My mom and I both enjoyed our donuts but their service really leaves a lot to be desired.

It was 7 in the evening and there was no one at the counter. I waited for a couple of minutes and a guy walked to the counter as slow as a turtle. Me: «Can get some hash browns, please» Cashier: «No!»(Very rude) Me: «You don’t have them or you don’t wanna serve me?» Cashier: «No!!» Me: «In sorry, Thats not an answer» Cashier: «No!!» Me: **FacePalm** and walk off! This is exactly how it went. Never go to this place

It’s a shame that the rude cashier is the first thing people arriving to New York get to experience. There’s nothing like listening to the girl behind the counter yell at every customer, then at you, as you’re coming off a long flight. She asks you what your coffee order is, but if you step out of line to tell her, you get yelled at to get back in line. So you’re expected to yell your order over the 10 people waiting. Then as I finished paying, I was actually told«take your stuff and go, please» as I was struggling to get my wallet back into my purse. Welcome back to NY.

Meh — Coffee — Doughnuts I heard that standalone Dunkin Donuts are a lot better than ones like this, so I won’t pass too much judgment. The coffee+doughnuts were OK. I didn’t really seem to find anything special about them.

Dunkin For Delicious Donuts And Coffee A New York Icon. I’m a sucker for donuts period but particularly good donuts and Dunkin Donuts makes pretty good donuts for a chain. Every visit to New York I have to stop here since we are deprived on the West Coast. DD are not too greasy and I love that they have so many varieties especially during the Fall/Holiday Season. I always opt for the munchkins because I love to have a variety of flavor on my pallet although my true favorites are glazed and maple. I love the pumpkin, jelly filled, plain cake, glaze, powdered cake and the cinnamon cake. The coffee is pretty good too it can’t be compared to a Starbucks or Peet’s but nevertheless is darn good. I can’t say I have ever had a bad cup. Most New Yorkers order it sweet with cream but I’m a black with no sugar no cream no room kind of gal so the flavor of the coffee is not masked. I also enjoy their hazelnut coffee. Yummers!

The Dunkies on the baggage claim level of Terminal 4 is one of the most incompetently-staffed DDs that I have ever experienced. They got my very simple coffee order wrong twice, and when I later unwrapped my bagel I discovered that they had screwed that up as well. I also saw one of the employees drop a coffee cup on the ground and then pick it up and give it to a customer. Gross.

The Dunkin’ Donuts in JFK Terminal 5 had decent donuts. Nothing to write home about, and the service was pretty snarky, but the donuts were decent. I got glazed and sprinkled donuts and they were a good snack. This place wouldn’t even stand out and I would likely never have visited it if it wasn’t one of two places to get food in Terminal 5, before you get to the security gate.

Took the Jet Blue red eye from Oaktown to JFK; deboarded the plane and made my way down to the luggage pickup. At 6:03 a.m., I really(no I mean REALLY) need a cup of coffee. As I came down the escalator — SHAZAAM! Like an Oasis in the desert, appeared Dunkin’ Donuts. I love the fact that you can get a coffee in a cup nearly big enough to bathe in.

Hmmmm. dunkin donuts. Once I landed, I knew I was on the East Coast. Hands down the best coffee always. Hazelnut coffee and a cake donut. Yum. This spot was clean and quick.

still has the best fresh tasting coffee to me! The donuts were a bit on the sweet side and the corn muffin wasn’t as good as I wished it was. but I go for the coffee anyway. Thank Goodness Jet blue gives out dunkin donuts coffee on the plane!

Worst coffee ever. Most Dunkin Donuts serve really good coffee, but this tasted watered down and over a day old. The food tasted stale too.

It’s 5:30 am @ JFK. Just got off a long flight from San Francisco and am still waiting for my luggage in baggage claim. And it’s peak Christmas hours… nightmare, right!!! Just when I don’t think I can make it, Dunkin Donuts comes to the rescue! WooHoo! I’ve been going through Dunkins withdrawals since I moved to California 7 years ago. Finally, I’m gonna’ get my fix! I order a medium coffee(yes, they actually refer to this size as a «medium» outside of CA), a chocolate donut(hey, tis’ the season, right?!) and the cashier asks for $ 2.90. Wait, is something wrong? Did she forget to ring in my coffee? No, it’s right — a coffee and a donut for $ 2.90. Wow, and at the airport to boot!!! That made the coffee taste that much better… and it was damn good to start with. I may just move to NYC after that experience!

I would give them one star but I am being generous because there actually was a snack stand available in that horrible terminal leased by Jet Blue. Trying to find something relatively healthy and not yeasty, bready or overpriced? Good luck! I managed to get a yogurt for a few bucks and threw a lot of it away. I think I also bought a small container of nuts and an OJ. Didn’t break the bank like their $ 7.00 sandwiches. Since my flight was delayed 3 hours(see Jet Blue Unilocal) I think I made a second trip to get a cup of coffee(which should have been provided complimentary by the airline!) The cup said Dunkin’ Ds and DD’s logo was everywhere but that coffee didn’t taste like DDs… it was bitter and uneven. I used to buy my coffee from DDs every morning(including weekends) and it was never as bad as that swill they were selling at the airport. Just be warned.

Need a cheap sugar fix? Dunkin’ Donuts. Need a cheap(ish) coffee fix? Dunkin’ Donuts. Just don’t expect it to be fast. Or accurate. My instinct was to rate this kiosk 1 star. Bad & slow service. However, I’ll give it an extra star for consistency of merchandise quality. & price. Where else can you get a non-candy bar snack for under a dollar? Donuts cost $ 0.99 each. & now that I think about it, even candy bars might cost more. After standing in a line of 6+ people, I finally reached the registers. I placed an order for my emergency in-flight snack. After trying to give me someone else’s order, the employees still managed to put 1 wrong donut in my bag & leave a huge gap at the top of my iced coffee. But, the brand is consistent. That’s the«beauty» of most franchises. Even after all the service-related aggravations, you generally know what to expect from your food. After dealing with all the security checks, the last thing I want is an overpriced & unpleasant snack. — - - Other notable offerings in the area: – Free WiFi(Check Unilocal one last time) – Hudson Booksellers(Magazines, books & candy) – Oasis Day Spa(Refer to my separate review)
