This place looks pretty seedy from the outside, but inside it’s actually quite nice. The front desk staff are phenomenal — friendly, kind, helpful. I listened to them respond with grace while they were berated by several people who were irrationally angry during the great blizzard of 2016, and I was incredibly impressed that they were able to keep their cool with the craziness of the guests. Well done. The rooms are a little stale smelling, but perfectly clean. Not recently renovated, but perfectly serviceable. King rooms have a mini fridge and microwave, and they have a good number of channels available on TV. The complimentary breakfast is limited, but the coffee was a-ok, and who doesn’t love a freshly made waffle? Free shuttle service to and from JFK is offered, but we found the driver a little surly. Be careful you get on the right shuttle from the airport– there’s also a Comfort Inn & Suites(different from this spot that’s just a Comfort Inn alone) that picks up from the same location at JFK. All in all, an a-ok to weather part of the great blizzard of 2016!

This hotel is close to the airport and has an airport shuttle. The room has free wifi, a mini fridge, microwave and a safe. It’s clean, comfy and convenient. They also have snack and drink vending machines in the lobby. Also included is a free continental breakfast which had toast, bagels, biscuits, waffles, eggs, sausage patties, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, orange juice and coffee.

The employees were great. I liked the easy access from the airport. The beds were comfortable. There wasn’t a lot of noise. The only thing was the parking, which sucked, though for most the nights we found parking in the back. Which by the way, is extremely tight. It was a good value for the money.

Guy at the front desk was incredibly accommodating and had a very friendly and welcoming demeanor. He went out of his way to help me on a night where the hotel was almost completely booked. He was even willing to help me find transportation to a different lodging in case he couldn’t find a room for me, fortunately he did. While waiting in the lobby I watched countless customers be curt with him and he handled everything with warmth and grace. The room is what you would expect, clean with a comfortable bed. It is the wonderful staff that made me go out of my way to review.

Easy access from JFK AirPort: Take the Airtrain to Federal Circle; from there a free shuttle bus will take you right to the hotel entrance. Friendly staff. Value for money.

Pros: Location, location and location nearby to JFK Friendly staff — being new to NYC they really helped in providing good info on public transit and also booked a taxi to subway as it was cheaper to use subway rather than drive by taxi. Free breakfast — good assortment of fruits — I liked this one. Cons: Not that I am aware of anything.

So happy I have found this hotel near the airport. Cost us about $ 15 from the airport… we were stranded at JFK for a full 24 hrs without luggage. The front desk man was wonderful we were able to get basic toiletries and an amazingly soft bed. Clean room and nicely renovated bathroom. Free Breakfast is 6am-10am and includes waffles, eggs, bacon, and hen the normal continental staples. Free shuttle to the airport that runs every hour and free wifi. Oh and HBO… made be stranded a little manageable now that I got some good sleep and to brush my teeth! Now off to find a change of clothes at the nearby Old Navy!
