So Planet Pizza has been closed for the past few months to undergo renovations. It hasn’t opened yet, but the good news is that they definitely put some money into this and the inside looks less creepy(for example, no more bottles of detergent for re-sale). The bad news is that it doesn’t appear to be a change in ownership, so I’m not sure if I should expect anything different. They are also renaming the place, as the moniker Planet Pizza is pretty darn toxic. The«new» place will, apparently, be called Robinwood Café and Grill and claims to be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We’ll see…

I have to agree with the majority of the posters. The place is sketchy; I have no idea how it does sufficient business to remain in business. Plus, the elderly owner flat-out lied to me – I complained of the SUV that was regularly parked on the corner, illegally obstructing the view from the left. He claimed not to know whose it was. At a later date, I saw him exit the vehicle. However, the pizza in Boston isn’t really much to brag about. The pizza here is better than Zesto’s and Ideal Pizza, but not as good as Same Old Place or Joseph’s(though Joseph’s has declined in recent months). It claims to be open for breakfast, but isn’t open during breakfast hours. Would be nice to be able to grab a cup of coffee while waiting for the bus.

Oh My God, i think this is the worst pizza Ive ever had. Me and my girlfriend got a large cheese pizza and only ate half a slice each. Really gross.

pizza is okay. cheap cheese, sort of thin yet hard crust. messed up our order, only offered the difference in price as a refund. Crazy expensive. Skip it.

Everyone else has said it already but, it’s true. Is this place a front for the mob or something? It’s so weird! There’s one old guy in a booth, playing Keno, every time I walk by. There’s a lot of empty space in the store too, I’d think a store/restaurant would want to use that wasted space for seating or merchandise. This place just gives me the creeps. Don’t bother.

There something just not quite right with this establishment. I can not seem to put my finger on it. Its a convenience store with not much in it. Its also a pizza/sandwich shop that has a very limited menu that is insanely gross. Hardly any customers at all. The family owners are cold and rude and are certainly not friendly and welcoming. The same family also runs the small dirty laundromat next door too. I have a feeling that entire operation is an «laundering» type of business. Majority of the other Unilocal of this place are spot on.

They buy the cheapest ingredients from the Hi Lo up the street, slap them together and bake. Do it yourself, save the five bucks.

Gross. I was running late for a friend’s party, but I was starving, and thought to myself… «this place looks fun, and I’ve never been inside!» They have like 4 cold sandwiches to choose from, so I decided to go with the Chicken Cutlet on the«Hot» menu. I didn’t know it was a Chicken PARM. When I asked for lettuce and mayo, I didn’t know there was already Tomato Sauce on it! Not to mention I think they used Weaver Chicken Patties from Hi-Lo Supermarket! ICK! The menu price was $ 5.40(for a SMALL!), I believe… when the elderly man rang me up for $ 6.74… I said WTF??? Me: «Why so much?» Old Man: «Taxes» Me: «Mass Meal Tax is 25%, now?!!» it should be like $ 5.70!“ Old Man: «$ 5.70 please» The prices are gross, and the food is grosser. I’m not sure if they have a food service license. I want to go back and check. Maybe I’ll go back if I’m really, really drunk, and don’t feel like walking next door to one of the other 20 places on Centre. To think of all the other local businesses that have been victim to fire /vandalism, and this place still stands? :(

Although this isn’t the greatest pizza in the world, it’s pretty damn good. It satisfies my craving for real new york pizza. theyre pretty quick, and do deliver. I’d recommend it.
