This Buffalo Wild Wings is like no other. Unfortunately though, it is exactly like the beginning of a «Bar Rescue» episode. As soon as we walked in JFK Terminal 4’s BWW… the foul smelling«bar«smacked us in the face. It’s not really a closed restaurant either so the scent lingered as our host guided us through the obstacles of dirty napkins and wings on the sticky floor. We were hoping to get a table as far away from the foul stench that came from the actual bar, but there was no way to escape it. We thought we would still give it a shot until we opened the menu… crusty. We bolted. I guess the health inspectors aren’t allowed past TSA?! Come on JFKT4BWW… exterminate those fruit flies.

Would have been 4, simply because there isn’t an airport up charge. You’ve all experienced it. $ 5 for a DD coffee, $ 20 for airport cocktail, $ 15 McDonald’s «value» meal, we can go on and on. However service was horrendous. Ignored and forgot a dish we ordered, like break out the note pad if you can’t remember 2 items, no shame in that. This JFK terminal 4 Buffalo Wild Wings is just like the one outside somewhere in Long Island(the one time I went). So admittedly a very limited experience. Similar crappy beer selection. The giants like Corona, Bud and the medium sized breweries owned by the giants, Sam Adams, etc. Nothing amazing, bit they give you a double pint. Perfect pre-flight size. Wings were crispy. Nothing wrong with texture of skin. However meat was sacrificed for that crispy exterior. Dry and tough. Fries were the skinny thin ones which i prefer. I prefer it even more when I can eat it during the eating duration of a meal, not the paying the check portion of a meal. But I wasn’t ripped off at JFK! win.

Service was decent. I asked for BONELESS wings the server brought me traditional(bone in) and said that they were out of boneless then gave me a look when I said I didn’t want them.

Place sucks. I ordered a salad and it finally came, with my food. I asked the server about it and he acted like he always bring the salad with the meal. Place was not clean at all. When I went to pay with a credit card the server stood right next to me with the credit card machine and asked if I wants to leave a tip and then had me put it in the machine. WTF? If I want to leave you a tip then I’ll do it on my own time not while you are peering over my shoulder. Food is mediocre, service sucks, restaurant is dirty. Go somewhere else in the terminal.

It’s not the worst but it’s not the best. The food is typical BWW fare. I felt like the prices weren’t exorbitant compared to some of the other food options. I had the chicken tenders. They were typical and came with fries. They actually have a pretty decent selection of beer. I had a Brooklyn lager and a Big Wave. Like all airport beer it’s on the $ side at $ 10 a pop. We had a two hour layover so didn’t have much else to do! The servers were really friendly and efficient.

Waited a bit to be seated as there was no one up front where it says: Please wait to be seated. Yeah, I waited alright. Had a Shrimp Po Boy which came on a tasty hero/bun with lettuce tomato and hand cut french fries. Asked for the sauce on the side because I didn’t know if I would like it. It was a chipotle/mayo sauce which was OK but I’m glad they didn’t put it on the sandwich. Shrimp were small but tasty and they were enough to cover the roll. Amanda S, my server, was very responsive to the call button(they have them on the tables) and fulfilled several of my requests with a smile. Great attitude and personality. Hope BWW knows that she’s a great server.

AVOID!!! The bartender ran distraction while his cohort lifted my suit tote bag! I had placed it on the chair next to me at the bar, slightly out of view on the back of the chair. Bad move on my part, but I shouldn’t have to worry about thieves in a domestic US airport! I had to flag down the golf cart guy to make it back and not miss my flight. My suit was not where I left it and was given back to me, but it definitely was not on the chair when I got up to leave. If you eat here, make sure you watch your stuff. Or you could order a ton of drinks and leave a $.10 tip for Rodney and the rest of the wonderful staff @ BWW. This was definitely not the first time this bunch had attempted to pull this off, but hopefully it will be the last.

I don’t even know why this place is still open Server all in a bad mood. No fried food available.. how can you keep up a wild wings place open if you’re unable to serve wings… Salad dried out, quesadillas without cheese… N I do not recommend it. Too expensive for the food quality.

This place was pretty good. I came here on a Friday night, waiting for my flight. The menu is the same as any of the restaurants, for the most part. I sat at the bar and the bartender was able to get to me right away. I ordered a drink, looked through the menu then found what I wanted. I ordered some wings and they were out within 10 minutes. It wasn’t busy but I was still surprised how fast they came out. They were fresh from the frier, and there was sooooo much sauce. Something the restaurants always skimp on. This is a place worth coming back to, well besides the $ 40 bill. Other than that this place was good.

Extremely slow, especially for an airport location. I stood at the podium waiting to be seated for about five minutes. When the woman did come to the podium she stood there looking around like she was lost for over a minute before she seated me. I was by myself and asked for the bar. I waited at the bar, being ignored for over ten minutes. I ordered basic chicken tenders and buffalo chips and a Guinness. My Guinness was not poured right, and trust me. It matters. My tenders were good, my buffalo chips were ice cold. I had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes for hot ones. Just not good service and attentiveness, especially since it was not all that busy, many empty tables and seats at the bar.

I haven’t had BWW since college days. I don’t recall anything special then and I wasn’t particularly thrilled when my in law decided to pay a visit prior to our flight in JFK. We opted for the large combo platter(20 pieces — half Asian zing and half honey bbq) and a side order of potato wedges to share. The wings were surprisingly crispy and juicy; however, both flavors were too sweet for our taste. The potato wedges were piping hot, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. Absolutely no condiments needed! Overall — Better than how I remembered it from college. It is decent choice for airport food especially since we were able to get in and out within 40 mins. However for the price point — I would much prefer shake shack down the departure hall.

#157 Not my favorite airport, but my favorite place to come while detained in NY. I was on my way to celebrate the holiday with friends and family overseas and had a layover at JFK. I was thinking, «Huh, NY airport for a little hour or two, no biggie – it’s NY,» but for some reason EVERYTHING shuts down at JFK by or before 10PM. WTF? Especially in the international area… Again – WTF??? I found the BWW’s at the end of my International area and saw the bartender cleaning and stocking, I felt my little heart sink in my skin. Why is he cleaning? Why are they closed? Where the hell can a girl get a decent martini before an overseas flight? What to do??? Well, this FABULOUS man said, «Hey, we are closed but I can help you with ONE drink, is that cool?» I must have looked like a deer caught in head lights, but I was all like, «Drink?» Hell to the yeah – Let’s do it! I sat down in what I thought to be an inconspicuous area as I get he was doing me a solid and did not want to draw unnecessary attention; however, not so much luck there. People saw me with my adult beverage and were in the same predicament I was, so apparently, the more the merrier! Chris made me a delicious martini and did not even«shoo» away the others who were also obviously professional drinkers waiting for their overseas flight to be called. Chris delivered me a perfect martini – and anyone of you who drinks martinis religiously understands that the ‘perfect’ martini is a difficult quest. Well, let me say that this was top tier. When I received the check I really did not mind paying $ 27+ for this martini. It was sublime. It made the wait for my connection so much better, Thank you Chris, you really know customer service and you understand the plight of the professional drinker in a foreign airport. I tipped this man well, was out of his hair in minutes, and really thanked him for his service, care and hospitality. WINNING! Stephani Smiles for BWW and Chris ;)

Good place to get some wings or grab a bite while on your layover at JFK. They are usually busy and does take some time, so make sure you have enough time before your flight. The service is mixed as I’ve been a couple times with some friendly and some not so courteous service. The wings are pretty good, the same that you get at other B-dub’s.

Unhealthy menu. We received great service from the girl tending to us. Food was very«meh» but it’s the airport so what can you expect…

I had lunch here because JFK Airport offers very little in terms of choices of food, and my friend was too picky to go somewhere more«exotic», so I went with very low expectations. Buffalo Wild Wings still managed to disappoint on most regards. On the good, the service was good, our waitress was friendly and prompt. The beer was good too, the selection is limited to mostly large commercial beers, but they have some micro brews. On the bad, the food was bad, badly fried food(old oil is the worst) with chemically flavored sauces made this meal an unforgettable experience, in a bad way. One of my friends ordered a dried up piece of cardboard that the lovingly call a cheeseburger. She wasn’t impressed either. If my friends insist on going to this place again, I will probably fast, or go somewhere else.

After a negative experience at Blue Smoke(separate review) Buffalo Wild Wings(BWW) was a welcome respite. Yes it’s a chain restaurant, and it’s an airport restaurant which means overly inflated prices. Yet at JFK Terminal 4BWW delivers A-OK food with a cheery staff. My salad was surprisingly good and healthy. I can’t ding JFKBWW for the inflated prices because it comes with the territory… airport leases command top dollar and the restaurants have to make sufficient money to pay the bills. I’m not saying I like the high prices, just that I understand.

After seeing all of the horrible reviews, I was hesitant. Buffalo Wild Wings is a secret guilty pleasure of mine, so I was pretty ecstatic when I saw they had one in terminal 4 at JFK. 5 hour layover = lots of food needed. The service was great. Our waitress(Bernie) was pretty nice and seemed super willing to help. She was quick and kept my water full all of the time(which is necessary when shoveling hot wings in your mouth). As far as the food is concerned, the wings came out fast and they came out hot. I believe they were a little more expensive than usual, but that’s airports for you. I got medium and Asian zing, both were super hot and super crisp. Definitely up to the standards of their other restaurants. We were in and out in 30 minutes. We were here at 7:00 pm on a Monday night and were paid and done by 7:30. If you have time and love wings, give it a shot. I left full and happy.
