Zen Soul Therapy

Deven is a fantastic massage therapist and I am never disappointed! My friend recommended her to me and I’m so grateful she did because I have received some of the best massages from her. Her therapy room is calming and relaxing and I really like how she incorporates warm stones and warm packs into the massage. If she offers a face massage make sure to say yes, it is such a wonderful way to end the massage session.
I will keep going to Deven as long as I live in Jacksonville!

Deven will give you an «oh yeah.» moment as she begins the session. Now I’m not talking an «accident» moment but an «oh yeah, this woman knows what she’s doing.» Deven is that good and we were truly lucky finding her. We have been loyal customer for a couple years now and honestly, I could not see myself getting a massage from anyone else, well besides my Al.
Zen soul therapy is located in an office park off old kings, it’s fairly easy to find. A giant Buddha painting adorns the peacefully forest green painted waiting room. I love this little room, so chill. I sometimes will just hangout and work waiting on my others appointment to finish. Remember to maintain respectful quietude so as to not disturb those during their sessions.
Not only is Deven very good at what she does but she is amazingly affordable. To me, this combination doesn’t compute for me, I’d happily pay more just for the same service. I want to show love.
Deven has always offered a clean and comfortable room and table. I like the heated table. Now to be honest and real, I have a distinct case of white boy butt, meaning I essentially have not buttock support and I code all day so after a couple weeks I get sharp and tense pains in my sciatica region. Well boy, Deven is the only masseuse that has been able to help me relieve my issue, make sure to drink lots of water before and after your appointment— unfortunately beer doesn’t count. No worries my lovely readers, I still drink like my forefathers but I just make sure to drink lots of water too, your bum will thank you too.

The first time I tried ZST was based on high praise and recommendations here on Unilocal.Well, I tried it out (asking for Deven as others had said) and was not disappointed. She was very nice and had a great personality, but she was also professional and allowed me to be quiet and relax during my massage. Her prices are extremely reasonable and low compared to the other places I have visited. I go to The Spa at Ponte Vedra a few times a year and of course I love it there b/​c of the whole «experience». The spa food and drinks, the huge pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, etc… All of that is great but when it comes to the actual massage, my favorites by far are from Deven. So when I am in need of a relaxing, great massage ZST will always be my first stop!

Finally made to see Deven and it was well worth the wait. Learned of her first at last year’s Moonbeam Bash and had a chance to see her again at an elite event. I haven’t had a massage in a while and was definitely in need of one. She found spots I didn’t know were tight.
With some of the best offered rates in Jacksonville and even better package deals, I’m so excited I found her. I can’t wait to go back and I only wish the best for her practice. It’s hard for me to find a masseuse I like and want to return to again and again. Deven is definitely one of those.

Deven gave me the best massage of my life today… and I’ve had quite a few! My 90 minute massage was really 90 minutes (not 75 or 80 like most places). Deven is really caring and she is an exceptionally experienced massage therapist. I’ve finally found the one I’ll be keeping and returning to monthly. I highly recommend Deven and ZEN SOUL THERAPY.

Devon sure moved the world last night. Or she fixed my wife’s shoulder and neck one. Devon sure came with a magnificent reputation from the reviews and Allie. She is the best masseur I have ever been to and I have been all over the world came from one guy. So we needed to fix the wife so Devon here we come. First talking to her on the phone pretty much sold itself. She is very caring and loves to help people. She is just so nice and really liked that we were referred by a friend. She greeted us at the door with our names and we sat and discussed Linda’s problems. Then off they went and when they returned my wife lifted her arm over her head. That was the first time in about a month. Devon did her magic and now the wife says it’s my turn. The place is super clean and smells good too. It’s a little off the beaten path but if you know the streets it’s not that hard. Or just use you GPS on your phone.

I have had massages all over the world, some fancy some more gimmicky, none were better then Deven at Zen Soul Therapy. She is one of the best you will ever experience.
The location looks like they moved in recently. Super clean and very nice atmosphere.

It had been way, way too long since I’d last seen Deven from Zen Soul Therapy! Adam did a fantastic thing for Valentine’s Day by scheduling a couple’s massage for us last Friday. (Complete with rose petals strewn across the room, and a glass of wine and chocolate covered strawberries afterwards!)
I first found Deven about 3 years ago, and even with all the Groupons and LivingSocial’s out there, I would never go anywhere else. She is just simply amazing at what she does.
So now she is in a new location, in an office park just off of Old Kings road. The reception area is bigger and the rooms are a little bigger too. There are about 4 ladies that do massages (one is an esthetician) in this location.
I’d been having some sciatica lately from an old injury and spent a few too many days last week hunched over a computer (like most of us do) I let Deven know, and she just KNOWS the spots to work on… muscles I never knew were tense, and works her absolute magic. This past time, she went a bit deeper, and wow, did I need that!
So much so, my entire body just «buzzed» afterwards. Like I’d had a great strong cocktail or something… she offers great package deals, so make sure to ask (and I’ll be scheduling my next appt. sooooooon.)
Highly, highly recommend and love Deven. Treat her right. :)

A-​MAAAA-​ZING massage experience! If you are thinking of getting a massage in Jacksonville, do not hesitate to go to ZEN SOUL THERAPY! My experience with therapist Deven Mcphaul has been nothing short of excellent.
I visited a number of places/​therapists over the last few months, in facilities ranging from full on day spas to tiny office spaces, in search of the perfect therapist for me. I found the atmosphere and location at Zen Soul to be perfect, in addition to Deven’s exceptional capabilities. I booked a deep tissue massage, and she was very attentive and made sure to ask occasionally if she was using too much pressure while paying attention to my problem areas and at the same time making sure to pay attention to the rest of me. I left feeling completely relaxed and content, and while I would like to keep her a secret, a person that puts their soul into their work deserves the recognition! Highly Recommend!!!
