First I ordered steak burrito it took 25 minutes to get it done and after three hours I am in the hospital having food poison from the burrito

This place is the best for tex-​mex in Jacksonville! Now if they’d only add some Rocky Mountain Green Chili for smothering the Chimichangas I’d be thrilled. The place is casual, kinda bar feeling but the food is good and the prices are right.

This was just what I expected coming to Tijuana flats. The service was good and quick. I ordered to go. My order was hot and exactly the way I wanted it. I love that I get the same service at every Tijuana I go to. That’s how it should be. The style is the same at all of these restaurants so you know just what to expect. Not to busy on a Monday night but not slow. I would most certainly grab dinner from here again if I’m on this side of town.

Yes I’m a fan! I like Tijuana flats, this location right in the front of bartram area in the kholes shopping center, is really nice!
When I walked in I was greeted immediately, like opened the door for me, what would you like to drink greeted, super sweet and friendly girls working here!
I have my usual I get which is the Flautas, dang they are so good, chicken or steak wrapped in a flour tortilla with cheese, fried then served with queso, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, pico and jalapeño…mummm I love the combination of salty fried and bright fresh. Really good stuff, one day I’ll try something else… maybe…
Oh and love the hot sauce bar, the hot and sweet sauces are delish!

We visit this location a couple of times a month. The food is always fresh, however, sometimes incorrect. It has taken up to 15 minutes to receive our food, on occasion. They’re hot sauce bar is great. If it was not for the slip ups in food delivery and wait times, I would give it five stars.

The tacos were tasty and they had great customer service. We had a toddler with us, so more food ended up on the floor than in his mouth, but the staff was really good about it. On another note, their hot sauce choices were pretty awesome :).

This particular time the food was ok, it was kinda dry because of all the steak and other veggies but little sour cream I believe. This was my first time getting a sangria and it was very tasty.

Soooooo yummy! And manager guy is so nice & helpful! Just wish the girls could wear pants when there are cold and rainy days. But food was DELISH! I recommend having the queso with the chips too!

Good place. The food was fresh and plenty. I ordered the two for. The place has a great hot sauce bar that was a little overwhelming at first the the staff put that to ease right away. Great place for kids or families and nice outdoor seating. More than the food the staff was great. It was a bunch of young people that all seemed really happy to be there, were having fun, and were really good at their jobs. I would definitely recommend this is you are in the neighborhood or traveling through. Not too far from the 95 so a good place to go to get away from the fast food joints.

This place is the best. I go every Tuesday for the Taco Tuesdaze deal, $ 4.99 for 2 tacos and a drink. Their guac and their queso are so good, and the churros are pretty tasty as well. It’s more tex-​mex than Mexican food, but it’s delicious and the atmosphere is pretty awesome. They have a nice outdoor seating area if the weather is good. Great service at this location in particular.

Love this place! It’s our go to family spot! Staff is always really friendly and accommodating and the hot sauce bar is great (granted I’m no hot sauce expert) with lots of choices and heat ranges. Price is not too bad either for the service and overall taste of the food. Will be coming back again and again

The typical Tex-​Mex-​Cali food chain. The staff is friendly and very nice. Food is ok, tacos are not impressive, burritos are small.
They brag about their salsa/​sauce bar and it’s ok. If they gave you a mild chunky salsa and told you to mix it in then I believe it would be a lot better. Meat is a little dry and I feel like I have to marinade it in their sauces. The mobile ordering is easy but don’t call in your order, they never pick up the phone.
I like this place because it’s quick decent food.

Normally it’s Taco Tuesday, but went here for dinner one night with the family.
Instead of the normal tacos I decided on the chimichanga. I ordered it with beef with chipotle sauce. My son ordered a plain one. For some reason, he’s on a chimichanga kick. My wife ordered an enchilada.
Like always, you have to work your way through the ordering process at the counter as there are a bunch of different choices. But nothing insurmountable unless the music is too loud.
Hit the hot sauce bar for a selection of different sauces to top off the chips.
I got to say that I was pretty impressed with the chimichanga. It was quite tasty.
I always get a good meal at Tijuana Flats. Tonight was no exception.

The food is decent, but honestly, I find it a bit gross to be handed fish tacos from scantily clad young women in short-​shorts. This is the only Tijuana I’ve been to that allows the girls working there to wear really revealing and questionable outfits. I feel as if it’s a bit unhygienic and sleazy, perhaps?
The service is always great and the girls are very friendly, but let’s face it; I would feel really uncomfortable bringing my father here.

Attitude determines altitude! Cannot beat the exceptional customer service of the staff. Freshest ingredients with a large salsa bar!
Very clean and roomy with a large dining room. Music choices were of all genre from Olivia Newton John to Rhianna.
Management is customer oriented as he walks around the dining room and greets every guest at each table. Manager also refilled our sweet tea! That doesn’t happen at other restaurants.
While we were eating management said, «Line it up!» And proceeded with a pep talk with his staff. Hubs and I listened while he talked about attitude and energy. Then «Brought it in» with a one, two, three — Hump Day!” Cheer as it was Wednesday. Probably the best manager/​Staff relationship we’ve seen while customers were already starting to come in.
Simply EXEMPLARY! Exceeded any and all expectations!
