I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cameras and lenses… They are the only photo repair place in town I would go to.
They operate a very honest business… Once they accidentally overcharged me a dollar and some change, noticed their mistake, and sent it in the mail to me with an apology note!
I truly think the world of them!

I had to have my cannon 60D repaired the Screen broke and the sports mode did not work my Sony cyber shot did not zoom either, the service was excellent. The owner who has been in the business a long time and is uptodate in the newer digital DSLRs. He gave an estimated quote the following day called with details on what was wrong and an estimate on price the Sony was going to be an expensive repair not worth fixing he estimated 10 days repair within 8 days I received a call that it was ready, the repair was not as extensive as expected and he ended up charging half of the quote. There needs to be more honest and good people like the owner of this excellent camera repair store. I highly recommend this store if you are looking for a good reliable place to repair your camera. Excellent service!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. They are super knowledgeable. They’re pretty much the only place in town that fixes cameras but despite that their prices are reasonable and they’re quite nice.

I just picked up my Nikon D90 from Southern Photo Technical Service Inc on beach Blvd. They said it wouldn’t be ready until about 10 days from when I dropped it off and they were finished with it in 4 days. That’s awesome! Everything they fixed and cleaned looks and works just great now. This was my very first time using them and if anything else ever happens I won’t hesitate to bring it back here for service.

Reliable and trustworthy. I’ve been using SPTS for 40 years for service, repair, and advice on top end cameras of several different makes. Service is normally very fast, simple stuff often while you wait if they aren’t too busy. All work is top notch and always have been. I’ve seen numerous little fixes done for no charge.

My Canon digital camera had a stuck lens due to a fall and showed an error message re the lens.
It was looked at right away and returned to me FIXED with no charge!
Now that is what I call good service!

I called this store en route to see if they charged a fee to look at the camera ($ 30 if it’s not a basic problem) and the guy was very rude on the phone, and when we got there he saw us park, flipped the sign to closed half an hour early and mouthed «We’re closed.» and shut the door. What a douche. Ill try to find some better place.
