Soud’s Quality Carpets & Flooring

We hired Soud’s to install new laminate and carpet in our condo in Baymeadows a year ago. Right after the installation it was gorgeous. Since this is our second home we were there for about 6 weeks then gone for 6 months.
Upon our return we noticed some places in our laminate that were chipped, edges along seems that were raised and other flaws. Our place had been unoccupied so we were surprised. We later came to find the problem is called ledging.
We contacted our sales person ³⁄₁₅ and left several messages without their being returned. Without ever asking us they sent the installer to examine the flooring. He ended up coming twice. That was followed by silence.
A couple of weeks later and a few phone calls and emails another employee came along with a rep from the distributor who ordered an inspection.
Long story short it is ⁵⁄₁₈. The report was Sent to them last week. I was promised an email with a proposal for resolution and the report on ⁵⁄₁₆. Never arrived. I have called twice since then and emailed three times as we are heading back home in two weeks and I cannot get a response from Soud’s. No return calls, no emails. Nothing. Considering their promises on their website I am, to say the least, disappointed.
Update since I wrote this. Finally have an appointment for an installer to replace the laminate identified as chipped and ledging due to installer error. Still not satisfied as this will repair the most egregious problems but not the rest of the mess they call flooring. Too tired to fight them any longer.

Charlie Cook was incredibly helpful during the sales process. He took the time to explain the differences in the carpet and which ones would be best for us. When we had second thoughts on color or style, he did not pressure us in any way. When he came out to measure, be brought additional samples. the installation process was incredibly smooth. Haynes Flooring, Soud’s installer, performed the install. A crew of three moved all the furniture, installed the carpet, did a great job of cleaning up and put all the furniture back, with out question.

Soud’s Quality Carpets has done a very poor quality installation of tile in our home. They accepted the terms of a contract with us but once they received final payment — despite their salesman saying «trust us» — have not returned prepared to correct the floor quality to meet the standard established in the contract. Though we have tried repeatedly to work with them they still refuse to commit to honoring the terms of the contract. We now wish we had not used them to begin with.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
They are by far the worst place to get flooring from, they are unprofessional, they lost my keys and when i say lost i say lost because when i went to go and pick them up they couldnt find them and i had to go back later in the day and waste my time to go and pick them up. Not only that but it took them over a month to get things done. Susan was the one who was in charge of the flooring and lets just say that she is irresponsible, thinks that she can have her people show up and not let you know (especially if your not going to be home) doesnt keep appointments nothing. While I will admit there were issues with my cell phone I had given them multiple numbers where they could contact me and yet they still avoided any directions I gave them.
Not only that but they installed a backsplash for a friend of mine and i was in charge of making sure it got done, it was a shoddy job and i had to get them to come back and fix it.
Please just stay away from this place at all costs. I want to save other people the pain i had to go through. They are terrible and will try to make up any excuse for something they do wrong.

My girlfriend recently used Souds to install hardwoods in her condo and they did a great job.
Everyone, from the showroom staff, to the installers, were professional. The installers arrived on time, both days, and worked fast, almost finishing the job in one day (small one bedroom apartment putting hardwoods in living/​dining room/​bedroom).
The floors look great and they sweated the details. All the finishing work is perfect, nothing left undone.
They cleaned up everything in between the workdays so if your in a condo like us the neighbors won’t complain.
Overall great job.
