I’m reviewing the Daily’s/Dash restaurant located in the Shell gas station. I know, who thinks to even eat at a gas station? I’m not talking about the 2 week old shriveled like raisins hot dogs they sell. They have a legitimate deli now at some of the Shell Stations and it’s AMAZING. When you walk in, this location has the Daily’s to the left. They have 3 touch screens where you can order your food. It’s great for people like me that love to stare at menus forever and can’t decide what they want. There’s also a menu above the serving window that has the descriptions of all the sandwiches, breakfasts and soups they serve. Not only do they serve sandwiches and soups, but you can also get freshly sliced meat and cheese by the pound. After reading every single description and going back and forth on what I wanted, I decided on the Italian Ciabatta. It came with Apple Wood Smoked Ham, Capicola, Pepperoni, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Italian Vinaigrette, on toasted ciabatta. You can customize it yourself on the screen or the ladies behind the counter told us you can tell them after ordering what you’d like them to add or take off. They were very helpful and patient with us. After placing the sandwich order, it will ask if you want cheese, gluten free bread, and dessert. You then click place order, a ticket pops out and you pay the cashier at the gas station part. What’s the advantage to getting your meal at the gas station? Picking your chips and drink out!!! Since they literally have every chip known to man, you’re not stuck picking from the crappy selection like Subway has. Also, they have one of those Coke Machines to make your own concoction of soda and it’s like 1.50 for a huge drink. Plus if you’re feeling spunky, you can grab some beef jerky, wine, or a donut for later! After paying for your lunch, the lovely girls behind the counter will call out that your sandwich is ready. They have a few tables and a counter to sit at. There were 4 us and there was plenty of room. Plus we had the best people watching experience ever. My sandwich was huge, fresh tasting and down right amazing. The bread was delicious and held the sandwich together perfectly. For 6 dollars and change… you can’t beat it. Every sandwich comes with a little cup that has a sweet and sour thick pickle slice. As my husband calls it, a little bit of heaven in your mouth. I convinced 3 people today that eating at the gas station is the hot spot. I will definitely be back to try more of their sandwiches. I just can’t get over how amazing this place is!!!

A very clean gas station! I stop here after work on my way home. It’s right off the highway and easy in and out. Tons of gas pumps, easy access and friendly staff.

This is a nice clean store but their pumps are always busy, usually have to end up waiting for one to become available. That this the one reason I hate this station !!! There needs to be more stations at the exit especially when so many people live in the whitehouse area, it’s ridiculous to have to wait 15 minutes for a gas pump !! There is a subway inside which is convenient. They have a nice selection of snacks and beverages. There is also a drive through car wash at this location.

construction on this exit is pretty crappy right now, but this shell is worth it. fairly large and clean, lots of pumps, nice employees, with a subway & a car wash(though it seems to be on the fritz). good selection of snacks and drinks, a lot of fountain options, and a clean two stall womens bathroom.
