Shampoo Cut Color Studio

I am new to Shampoo Cut and Color on Stockton however I am a long time client of Jessica’s. In fact I followed her here from another salon, she said to trust her SC&C was great and she wasn’t wrong. The owner is wonderful and honestly one of the most knowledgeable stylists I’ve ever met. Jessica has chopped all my hair off, helped me grow it out, and dyed it every which color I ask, all after I fb message her an hour before I want to come in begging her to make me pretty. She actually opened the salon for me once to retouch my hair, and no matter how loud or hungover I am or how much I talk she always listens and laughs. I think the best thing about them is they ask each other for advice, if Jessica thinks that someone in the salon might know how to make my purple brighter or my blonde blonder she asks so I always know I am leaving looking great! I love Jessica and the crew at this salon and anyone that says other wise can suck it.

I love Shampoo! Jessica Canterbury is my stylist and she is fabulous!!! She is well trained, keeps up on the latest styles and fashions and always lets her creativity shine through. She cuts my hair with the DevaCurl method and it always looks fantastic. Truly, the only stylist I have been to in Jacksonville who understands curly hair. She also colors it, both to cover grey and give me a pop of color with a bright Privana purple. I followed Jessica from her last salon. My daughters also get their hair styled by Jessica. Oh, and her prices are incredibly fair. Try her out. You won’t be disappointed!

I really wanted this to be my new salon in Jax but no such luck. Everyone that works there is super nice and acts like they really care about making your hair look good and I think they really do.
First off I was going in for a color correction, which is harder to fix than just regular color. My hair was colored with box dye (blonde box the worst kind) and it wasn’t too pretty. That being understood color correction is listed on their website as one of the services they specialize in. I set up an appointment that day which was awesome!
I came in showed Jessica pictures of what I was looking for, blonde high and low lights, and we got started. I will admit it made me nervous that when Jessica was doing my hair she was asking Jayme a lot of questions on what color to add and mix but I thought, maybe she just wanted a second opinion to be extra sure.
Anyways, she finished my hair and it came out super orangey, the parts that were blonde turned out good but that orange brass was brutal. They offered for me to come back if I didn’t like it. I didn’t, so I called to make another appointment to correct the color. They again were super nice and said they would do this and that and it would look better, a little darker but better. Popped my hair out of the foils the second time and OMG my hair is sooo dark now. Like waaaaay dark, not at all what I wanted. I’m assuming it was a ‘oh no we can’t save the blonde so just cover it with dark’ type of thing. She did say give it a few days it may lighten up so fingers crossed it lightens up ALOT.
They’re so sweet and nice but I won’t be back. :/​also the ‘devacurl’ haircut was nothing special, save your money and just get a regular cut!

I love this salon! My sister, my fiancé and I all go to Wesley and he is super nice, very talented and reasonably priced. My hair always look fantastic when I leave. Everyone who works at the salon is super nice, which makes it a fun and friendly place to be. I can’t recommend Shampoo highly enough!

I just moved to Jacksonville in 2013, and after shaving my head, needed a new stylist to shape up my hair. Walking in on a Saturday morning, Lee, a stylist at Shampoo, was able to squeeze me in, and give me the exact haircut I was looking for!
Will be back soon for another cut and possibly color.

Love this salon! I have gotten a couple of hair cuts here and i must say, I am always very pleased with the way they come out! The staff knows exactly what their doing, they are very professional and knowledgeable. I recently got my hair dyed and i loved the way it came out. It’s hard to find a place where they do exactly what you want. I am definitely going back!

I recently moved away from Jacksonville to the Philly area and am missing this salon! It’s tough finding a great salon in a new city. Wesley always did a outstanding job with both my hair and my husband’s. Wesley you are missed!

My sister regularly gets her hair cut and colored here, which is ALWAYS amazing and well priced and made a reservation to get updo’s for her wedding this past weekend. There were four of us. Bride, maid of honor, bridesmaid and mother. Wes and Lee did an amazing job! They have a very relaxing atmosphere and are both incredibly personable. All of our hair came out amazing. If I didn’t live in Los Angeles, I’d be back here to get my hair done every two months.
