It is sad that local grocer Winn-​Dixie has surrendered the crown as the king of grocers in Jacksonville. That said, Publix just keeps getting better. There continued improvement in fresh, green and organic products at a fair price is what keeps me coming back. And with two Publix on San Jose within a mile of my home, it’s hard to go anywhere else. Except the occasional detour to Whole Foods. Sometimes you just got to go extravagant!

Believe it or not, there premium choice fillets, quite tasty. I find them better than the Fresh Market, or even Tillmans off of old Saint Augustine. Just my 2 cents. Bön Appetit

This Publix is smaller than most, definitely my favorite! Friendly staff and you don’t have to walk 3 miles thru store! It feels like a neighborhood store! Love it!

First time at Publix and found it to be pretty good.
The store was decent sized and clean. Didn’t venture towards the produce as I was there only for some ready-​made hot food and drink.
The deli section has good selection of chicken wings and sides. Good selection of beer with a nice explanation of types. It was relatively empty when I went but that could be because it was late Sunday evening. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
While this store would be somewhat far from where I stay, however, would definitely be exploring the nearby Publix at Batram Park. It definitely feels like a good value for quality and service.

Of the several Publix stores within about 10 miles of this one, this is by far the best one. They have a great selection of stuff you can’t find elsewhere. Great service as well.

I’m pretty close to 3 locations but I prefer this one. When I moved further towards Fruit Cove I shopped all 3 to compare out of them all this is my favorite. The deli always has every flavor/​type of wing made they offer any time of day. I’m a bakery snob cause I use to manage one but I gladly buy all of their products. Meat, seafood, produce all super great and helpful. Then in grocery there’s Rodney! He’s wonderful, funny, and helpful! Also, my 7 year old is all about her Mr. Rodney and always has to visit him to say hi and get high fives. The girls up front are great and always helpful! This Publix has groceries but most important a staff that brings you back there!

Publix beats them all in quality and their customer service is second to none, by far the best grocery stores in the city. Any location I’ve ever been to I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed with the experience. The bakery and deli are awesome, the kids always look forward to the free cookie they get when we go. I love Publix and won’t shop anywhere else simply because you can’t beat their quality or customer service.

I straddle two Publixes,…this one is smaller than my staple Publix,.but sometimes has different things than the né I am closest to and I pass this one all the time… near my bank too! All Publix rock! Good folks, good staff, good choice,…wish Publix was public! I’d buy as many shares as I could!
