Found the Peddler’s Antiques and Home Décor online before visiting Jacksonville, so made sure to stop by when we were over there. Front part of shop is all country décor(not my thing), so we proceeded to the back of the building, where we found booths of antiques, crafts and a room of furniture. Enjoyed looking through the mix of items. Prices were reasonable. Found a couple of items we couldn’t leave behind. Would visit again if in the area. Note for persons with allergies — small dog on premises.

This antique/gift shop is always a place that we go to when we visit Jacksonville, IL. We come out twice a year to visit with my mother. I always find antiques and collectibles at reasonable prices at this lovely shop. My mother lives nearby and she’s also found wonderful antique furniture that she just had to have. The wide selection of items is great. Jewelry, mailbox covers, pottery, quilts, books, furniture… you name it and the Peddler probably has it. Everything is clean, attractively displayed, and is reasonably priced. My mother can buy presents for me at this store and it’s always something that I just love. Another note: It has a clean rest room… a plus for us over 50 crowd… See you next spring!
