Probably the best customer service I have ever had! Our waitress/owner was super sweet and very personable. The food as well as the price was fabulous! I grew up eating Filipino food and Marianna’s brought me back for sure! We got the lumpia, pancit, pork and chicken meat sticks, and shrimp patties and every item was on point. I will definitely be returning very soon!

First time visit and what a welcome. Big smile and warm greeting. Pacific Island food. Hot lump is. Tightly wrapped and well filled. Solid on the seasoning Since it was my first time I took the owner’s suggestion of Teriyaki chicken with rice. Grilled perfectly. Nice and sticky. Great food for a good price

Superb! True I’ve never had Guamanian food before to compare it too but it’s hard to believe it could get better. I had the barbque chicken with the red rice and Mac salad. The owners had already closed by the time I showed up to pick up my food so I was able to speak with them. They were very welcoming and friendly. I can’t wait to be back in jax so I can eat here again!

The staff is very friendly, the food is nothing short of amazing! Me and my husband eat here at least twice a week. I tried the tagas burger last time it was very good. My favorite items are the pancit, lumpia, and empanadas!!!

My husband and I finally visited this place today tried Chamorro food for the first time. First off, the place is clean and the owners were very warm, friendly, and welcoming. The guy asked me it was my first time and I told him yes and he offered me to seat at the table to look over the menu. I told him I am ordering to go b/c we have a dog in the car. Anyway, I ordered to go & got the Shrimp Patty for appetizer and for the for the meal we got the Loco Moco & Chicken Kelaguen. The shrimp patty was okay, it kinda got soggy and the flavor was ok but I will try this again when we do dine-in in the future. The Chicken Kelaguen with Fiesta Rice and Mac Salad, the chicken was too lemony for me but the rice and mac salad was really good. It’s my first time eating Chamorro food so I don’t have anything to it compare the Chicken Kelaguen. But the Loco Moco was delicous, love the flavor of the beef and the gravy! I will definitely go back and try the different food items and will try my best to go when they offer their food special! I am giving it a 4 star for now b/c of the shrimp patty and chicken kelaguen. Will give/update another review the next time I go.

So much goodness here. I want to order the whole menu. Spam masubi is so simple and off the hook. I could drink the gravy on the moco Loco. The bbq sticks are fantastic too. And the hospitality is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get here now.

I will likely try this in the near future however I would appreciate a menu with translations and publish it on line. Your link on Facebook did not work for me. I understand the enthusiasm of those who have lived on Guam, but to the vast numbers of us who have not, the names of the dishes gives little clue to the contents. To the uninitiated your name would suggest a coffee house.

Tasty food… So much so that I forgot to take pics to post here. I’ve been missing daigo since 1991 so I was sure to order some to-go. The kids enjoyed the malasadas dessert with vanilla ice cream while the adults at the table indulged in the bonelos manglo! The space was homey and comfy with the owners adding so much to the ambiance of the experience– yay for customer service! What are you waiting for— check them out already!

Love the food here! The owners are natives of the Marianas Islands, and they have the best of the island food on the menu. My husband and I spend four years teaching on Guam many years ago, and we loved the village fiestas with many of the same dishes served here. This is authentic island food. We’ll be returning and bringing the whole family. I wish we’d thought to hold my husband’s birthday party here, but that is something to plan for next year. Fran P.

I saw this place when they first opened up. The food looked good and some of the people I know said it was good. I do the a warm fuzzy feeling Hawaiian food. I got to spend some time there surfing and skateboarding in my younger days. Now I also know some good folks the operate a killer Hawaiian food truck also. Now I have looked through their menu and thought I knew exactly what I wanted to try. That list left me as soon as I walked thru their door. The place is pretty small but decorated well with some maps of Guam and Marianas Islands which both owners was raised in. Having eaten some of the food of hawaii I recognized a dish that we used to always go for in Hawaii after a long day of surfing. Loco moco is a good and filling dish that was always cheap too. When I first walked in I was greeted very warmly by one of the owners. She was very nice and we got to talk for a bit since I was the only person in the place. It was right before they closed for the afternoon. I did get to learn some of their history. They used to be in the back of the flea market thats down the road a piece. I did go for the loco moco dish and also wanted a lumpia. Really I wanted to see how they stacked up against one of my favorite trucks out today. When I got my lumpia it was good. then my loco moco showed up and it also was quite tasty. I did really enjoy this meal with a hand patted burger patty. The seasoning was a little on the blander side for me but I like things bold. The mac n cheese was also island style and mayo based. As good as my friends. That one I might have to keep under my hat for now but I’ll be back for sure.

My daughter came here and told us about it sober had to come back and try it for ourselves. The kids got teriyaki chicken with fried and steamed rice. My wife also got the teriyaki chicken with a salad and fried rice. It was fantastic and a good amount of chicken. I got the short ribs. They were fantastic just not a large portion for a big guy like myself. I too got the fried rice but got the Mac salad. Mac salad was great. The service was even better. Very family friendly and accommodating to kids. We will make this a regular for family.

I have no idea why I didn’t know about this place sooner, but I’m glad I do now. Filipino and Chamorro cuisine is very similar and to have a place that has Chicken Kelaguen, Adobo, BBQ Short Ribs, Katsu along with Pancit, Red Rice, Mac Salad and Spam Musubi done right at a perfect price point is a real treat! Can’t wait to come back for the breakfast! Great owners, great staff, great service, great food!

Visited some family in Florida and on the way back up north passed through and decided to try Mariana’s Grinds! As a native Chamorro who grew up on Guam it was like being back on island at a village fiesta. Nothing beats the tastes of home! We had most of the appetizers(lumpia, empanadas, shrimp patties) and island food staples like Kadon Pika, Bbq short ribs, and even Spam! Everything tasted great! I will say that if you are not used to spicy food be careful with the empanadas and finadene’ as there are peppers in each. The restaurant owners let us know that they had just opened in this location in October and I have to say I absolutely love all the little touches done to the restaurant. Down to the carvings done on the chair rails. You can tell they put their hearts into this and I appreciate them for that. Thank you, Mariana Grinds for putting Chamorro food on the app!

Excellent island food. Friendly service!!! Family owned restaurant with local island vibes and grinds from the Marianas and the Pacific. If you like empanada, lumpia, bbq chicken, spare ribs, pickled papaya, bbq pork stick, red rice, finadene, King Car iced tea, spam musubi, and fried chicken then you’ll love this island joint cuz they make the best food in the southeast. For reals bro.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place, if I could give more stars I would. My group and I came in hungry, and left feeling happy, full and satisfied. The food was superb and affordable, and the workers were amazing. Truly one of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced; a table of 8 and the food still came out fast and everyone made us feel like we were at home. I honestly can’t decide what entrée to recommend, because everything was delicious. From the smothered chicken, oxtail stew, pancit, Loco Moco. Omg! I do however suggest trying a Masubi and the shrimp patty for appetizers. Mmmm and even if your tummy can’t handle it. don’t leave without trying the Malasada. Record of 18 Masubi’s — 11÷14÷15. Yup!
