Little Black Dress Elite Event at Blackfinn American Grille

Thanks Blackfinn and thanks Katie for a great event. Good food and great drinks but the service from the staff had to be the best.

I didn’t even know these things existed until about a week ago, and am glad I was invited — free drinks and an excuse for a babysitter and a date night? Works for me.

BlackFinn was very gacious for holding the event. Although I did not try the Elite Drink, the wine was very good and the staff ensured my glass was never empty. The apps were also very tasty. Thanks again!

It was my 1^st glimpse of a Unilocal Elite event and it totally surpassed my expectations. Blackfinn was a great host, even tailoring a special drink for Unilocalers! Great job Katie.

I had a good time! Guys, you could’ve shown up looking better. None of you were in little black dresses. Heck, none of you were in dresses at all! Blackfinn, I had a great time. Nicole, the bartender, was on point. I tried some of the Unilocal cocktails and I settled on The Elite, which was awesome. The restaurant has an awesome floor plan, with several different rooms. I noticed they had coat hooks on the booths, which combined with all of the wood, made for a classy, oldtime-​y feel. I had a great time and I met some pretty fun Unilocalers. Let’s do it again!

The second Jax Elite Event was just as good as the first! Shout out to Blackfinn for being super awesome for hosting us and providing us awesome food and drinks! What on earth did they put in those pretzels to make them so yummy???
I love seeing all the Unilocalers in person! It is great to be able to meet up and talk about what is going on in the Jax area. I walked away with a list of about 5 more restaurants that I have to try! Good thing we won the Foam 5K tickets so that we can work off some of those calories!
The photography & film company was awesome. They worked their butts off all night snapping up videos and photos!
I’m looking forward to next time!

Whaa??? Jacksonville now has Elite Unilocal events?! Holla! I recently moved back home to Jax and was so stoked to find out Jacksonville now has a CM by the lovely name of Katie C. Thank you for hosting a wonderful event and one up for allowing me to bring a +1 at the last minute. And way to get me excited with RAFFLE TICKETS! Hands in the air! It would have been so badass if I won tickets to the Best of Jax Party! Black Finn was generous with the complementary drinks. The servers were also very sweet. Ditto Amy S.‘s comment on the photog. She was great. She told us to wrinkle our toes or something to that nature. It got me smiling. I just hope I don’t look too baffled (than uzsh) in the pics. I’m really excited to see the Unilocal community burgeon in Jax. BURGEON! BURGEON I SAY! I look forward to what’s next to come in our quaint city.

A big shout out to Colleen B, the Unilocal Community Manager in Orlando, for showing up and having a great time with all of us. It was amazing seeing her again and being able to get caught up (I’ve really missed he since I moved from Orlando).
I really look forward to these events, not only to try some new food and new drinks, but to connect in person with my online Unilocal friends like Steve G. and his wife Hilary.
I can’t wait for the next event, Katie. I know it’s going to be just as great!
One more thing: I really love the photography Katie has used for both our 1^st and 2^nd Elite Events. She is really friendly and professional. And she takes some really awesome shots!
