Stopped here for dessert on a Friday evening. This place gets packed, and for good reason. Lots of goodies to choose from. I had mint chocolate chip ice cream in a chocolate-dipped waffle cone. My husband had a chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake. Both treats didn’t disappoint. My husband said the milkshake was one of the best and thickest he’s ever had. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was incredible — smooth and not too minty. For us, Kilwins is a definite splurge not only for calories but for cost(our two items cost $ 13). Definitely worth it though. Come during a non-busy time(if possible) if you want to browse all treats offered.

Lots of sugar to be had in here… they make waffle cones on site and they have a nice selection of ice cream, shakes as well as confectionery type chocolates. There are ready made boxes of chocolates for sale on display. The waffle irons are near the entrance on the chocolate side, not the ice cream side. Kilwin’s in near M Shack and has such a small storefront it may be hard to find in the Town Center which is so spread out across so much land.

One stop shop for all the sweets you want. It’s hard to ride through the town center and not stop at this place. The ice cream is so good, I haven’t had a chance to try the other treats. Every time I come here, there is a steady crowd coming in so I assume all of the other sweets are really good too.

Kilwins is our favorite ice cream shop. It’s alwAys busy, so have a bit of patience, but it’s worth it. They have all sorts of confections from candied apples, to fudge, to various candies. The candies and such are a bit expensive, but the ice cream is really what you want to go there for. Salted Caramel is my fav!

The first time I visited Kilwins I was leaving Pf Changs which is right next door and needed to satisfy my sweet tooth. There were so many options to choose from but I had to go for my favorite, chocolate covered strawberries. They have milk, dark, and white, and I got two of each. They were amazing AND they’re cheaper than peterbrooke(by almost half!!!) I have visited several times afterward and I try something new each time. They have daily specials which is always an excuse for a cheat day and I now have a new go to sweets spot. Love it!

I was shocked at the witnessed unsafe food handling at this Town Center Kilwins Disgusting and saddening considering how much I loved their fudge. My family and a friend stopped in this past Sunday night after dinner at Bento Café, around 6:30pm. While waiting to order my favorite fudge I watched this guy ring up the previous customer, handling their money and the register, brush his hair out of his face with his fingers then grab a slice of fudge out of the case with the same hand WITHOUTCHANGINGHISNOWNASTYGLOVES! I was so grossed out I won’t ever be back to this location. The fudge and ice cream is so yummy BUT not worth getting sick or causing serious harm to my health. So disgusting and shameful!

Went here for some desert after lunch. They have quite a few things, but went for the ice cream. It was good and if pay with cash, you get a free caramel candy.

Yummy, local ice cream shop. Sweet staff, and fresh product(they make their own cones!!!). I would give a higher rating, but my chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream was pretty blah. Hardly any cookie dough and pretty tasteless. Maybe I will try another flavor next time!

Any time we are in the area we are drawn to this place… They have a variety of different flavors… The staff is very friendly and super helpful… The shop is kept very clean. It can be busy at times, but the wait is never very long. If you’re looking for a cool treat this is a great place to go.

Nice stuff. I had an old favorite, coconut clusters, and a newer favorite, a coated rice krispie treat. This time I got white and milk chocolate coconut clusters, both good. In the past I’ve loved the chocolate-dipped rice krispie treat. This time I had a caramel-coated one with milk chocolate swirled on. I don’t know if it was as good as the plain milk chocolate one but it was good. It was $ 7.33 for the three items. They also have ice cream, candy-coated apples, and other sweets here.

The sweet aroma of waffle cones cooking always pulls me into this store. Not many people can resist and I’m a sucker for sweets. Right when you walk in, there’s a variety of gorgeous caramel apples sitting in the case waiting for a new owner to take them home. Oh creamy caramel covered apple’s…you would be such a great gift. As you move deeper into the shop, the cases are filled with handmade chocolates, serious fudge and candies to your left with prepackaged gifts of Kilwin delicacies off to the right. Towards the very back, there’s that ice cream you’ve seen everyone on St. George street licking fervently as streams of sugar & cream melt down their waffle cone and arms. You’ve got to experience that. And lastly, you can’t leave without sampling all you can sample for free and before sugar comatose then perhaps leaving with your faves to share(or not) for later.

Hands down my favorite place to get Ice cream in Jacksonville. I love waffle bowl Wednesday! My only complaint is that there isn’t one closer to my house. I’m wishing I could have a scoop of the Sea Salt Caramel next to a scoop of their Coffee Chocolate Chip right about now!

Great tastes, great flavors, great service. My kids love to go to Kilwin’s, both for the choices of ice cream and the chocolates they have for sale. This particular Kilwin’s is always busy and service is always great, unrushed and unhurried and you always get a smile. They do not mind giving out samples and my kids, well they like to sample even when the still get the same ice cream each time. With all these accolades, why only four stars? In my humble opinion, it is just a bit pricey for what you get. and the ice cream choices are limited. Granted, going to an ice cream only store will yield many more ice cream choices and going to a chocolate only store will yield more chocolate choices. But when you get both, you get some great highlights from both sides of the fence. Now what is best about Kilwin’s? When you first walk by the open door and smell the intoxicating smell of chocolate, praline and caramel. It has to be the best kind of aromatherapy you could ever inhale.

This place definitely can add to the waistline, but it’s so hard to not come here when they have really good daily specials! During Valentine’s Day they were so helpful with helping me put together a gift for my parents and they were very patient too. Afterwards they put it all nicely in a box with a ribbon and a bow. Their caramel apples are really good too! Nice thick caramel and crunchy Granny Smith apples! Their fresh squeezed lemonade is amazing and def worth the $ 1.75 on Mondays. Their ice cream is amazingly delicious too. If you have never been to kilwins before then your def missing out.

Ah. The smell. Ive never had a bad ice cream here. Ive never tried the fudge or other goodies, but I am confident they are all just as delicious. My favorite is the French Silk ice cream. It is the smoothest chocolate ice cream I have ever eaten, not a smidgen of graininess, which is rare in a good chocolate ice cream. Came here with the family when my oldest got her tonsils out. You don’t really need an excuse to eat ice cream… I mean, we’re all adults here right? But man… its nice to have a good reason ;)

I was so excited to find Kilwins(a favorite of mine when I grew up in Atlanta) before heading back home to NYC while browsing St. John’s Town Center in Jacksonville! My friend and I were welcomed with free samples of caramel apple — this stuff is bliss, people. At upwards of $ 6 an apple, though, I might just go to the store, buy some apples, and find myself some caramel dip. My go-to’s at Kilwins are: 1. Turtle fudge — that caramel and fudge come together to make the most delicious melt-in-your-mouth sugar baby ever. It’s about $ 4 for half a slice(they do it by weight). Don’t forget to ask for a sample if you’re not sure. 2. Blueberry waffle cone ice cream on a sugar cone — so good. Blueberry ice cream(it really tastes like blueberries, though a tad bit artificial tasting) with pieces of chocolate covered waffle cone mixed in with the ice cream. Get these and you will not be disappointed. I remember my Kilwin’s back home had a 10% student discount — not sure if they have it here but worth a try.
