This Roo is walking distance to my house, but every time I come here I know I will always stand in that cramped little spot in a long line or be in line for a long time regardless of the situation. And honestly, there’s usually some situation. Whether it’s the awkward homeless guy standing way too close to the register(& you) while you pay or someone counting out their beer money in pennies — you will wait at some point. If you go on a rare occasion when you breeze through the line, consider it your lucky day and buy yourself a quick pick. Service is not terrible considering some of the clientele with which the clerks must deal, but gas prices are usually good here so I do make that occasional stop.

It’s a C-Store. I was thirsty and needed some munchies. They store was kind of gross, messy, and overall dirty. They have poop everywhere. You can hardly walk though the isle with out bumping into stuff. It was just on the way and on the right side of the road.

This is the closest gas station to my house. My brakes were almost completely out of fluid and I was barely able to stop when needed. Plus I was on «E» in gas. Apparently, an older woman had just run into a cement post/barrier thing by the pump when she was trying to leave. The woman working at this Kangaroo at the time had come outside to fill out paperwork regarding the incident. When I pulled up and started to go in, the employee woman said she was closed right now. I guess she was the only one working at the time. I asked her when she planned to reopen. She replied with a negative snap, «When I’m done here.» I asked her if I could wait. She snapped back, «It’s gonna be a while.» I had to drive all the way down to a station elsewhere.(On my awful brakes and low gas, it was a long and scary drive.) I understand that closing the business sucks. But, I was bringing her more business. No need to be rude. I would rather drive further to the gas station I ended up getting gas from that day now. The people at the station I ended up going to(I will review that gas station asap) in there were all so nice and down to earth. Made me feel very welcomed. In one of the days that followed this, my husband ran over to the Kangaroo by our house to pick up hambuger buns and they were out. Maybe their supplier was running behind? Because them and FOUR other stations nearby were all out of hamburger buns that day.
