I can only speak for the truck driving portion of this school. This is the worst educational experience I have ever encountered or attended in my adult life. I spent more time standing around on the black top in the hot sun then anything else. Lack of trucks, lack of professional and courteous instruction left me with a very bad taste in my mouth for this facility. I personally witnessed racism and discrimination on a daily basis for the entire time I was there. I also personally witnessed more than two of the lead instructors actually threaten students with reprisal if they did not help to pick up trash and cigarette butts even if they didn’t smoke or cause the litter. They«fast track» people at this facility and if you don’t have a «thick skin» to «hang with it» they will spit you out like trash. They do not care about you or your ability to learn and will literally do anything and everything to kick you out. I know I witnessed it happen to multiple people in our class for no good reason other than they were of African decent or Latin decent. Beware of J Tech… Brooke in the front office is the step-daughter of Mr. Ricks one of the lead driving instructors and I personally witnessed her on more than one occasion single out students for no other reason than to either get them kicked out or to start crap with them. Very Unprofessional. If I were you… I would never pay a dime to attend this school and to me you can’t even call it a school… it’s a «boot camp» for«entry level» wannabe truck drivers and they will treat you like crap.
