This Hampton Inn needs a face lift, wall paper falling off walls, breakfast area was poor, generic coffee lids didn’t fit the cups, warm milk. Rooms are out dated, carpets dirty, bathroom lighting make it seem like u are taking shower in a cave. Generic soaps not the Neutrogena like the other hamptons around. TV goes out when storms pass. In room desk chairs are from the 70’s or a thrift shop. I use to like this spot, but needs to be renovated. Moved to the HGI after one night.

This is a typical Hampton Inn. Not nearly as nice as some of the newly renovated locations, but certainly acceptable. The location is good if you need to be downtown. The not-yet-quite-defunct Jacksonville monorail has a stop right next door if you want to ride over to The Landing for dinner, but there are a few nice dinner places very close by.

What a great place to stay! The staff was very friendly! In fact they went out of their way a few times to help the needs of their guest. I witnessed one staffer print out a customized map for this lady who had several stops in Jacksonville. On another occasion they came out singing to a gentleman who’s birthday it was and gave him a birthday card and inside it was a free treat from the sweet shop! The breakfast was actually breakfast! Breakfast meats, waffles, oatmeal bar, assorted breads and fruits. It was better than some restaurants. The room was nice as well fairly big and all for a reasonable price! It’s a must stay if in Jacksonville, FL

We needed a hotel in a hurry and we were so glad that we found this one. It was not expensive and we received great service. The only two minor complaints I have are how rough the pillowcases are and the fact that there was no soap, lotion nor shampoo in the room(but to be fair, we got what we needed within five minutes of contacting the front desk).

It is not like other Hampton Inn properties I’ve stayed, it’s way older that what I’m used to, the room was spacious but it smelled like masked cigarette. The receptionist was not very friendly. The attendant of the breakfast bar was amazing though; Kind, very diligent and accommodating. They have queen double beds which it’s nice, the bathroom looked good but I got some kind of fungus on my feet there for a minute that I was walking bare foot or in the shower. Seriously

I have stayed several times but have preffered to stay at their Hilton Garden nearby. Unfortunately for me, HG was booked up last night. This place has gotten much worse since my last stay. The rooms are not what I would call clean. Scum on the sink and the shower. No hairdryer. Few towels and no bath mat, which was unfortunate as the shower door has a huge gap at the bottom which let water out all over the floor. The TV had sound but no picture. The room had a Jacuzzi but one touch told me it hasn’t been cleaned this year. Bacteria soup, anyone?

A quick trip took me to Jacksonville. This Hampton Inn Property is older and needs a complete overhaul — but the staff at the property are amazing. Thank you for a wonderful trip.
