Whenever we get delivered pizza, we order Five Star. It’s pretty generic, but hits the spot. No, it’s not Carmine’s or Moon River, but those places don’t deliver. I tend to pick up a lot too. A large 1 topping pizza is $ 8.99 plus tax, when carrying out. You can stuff 2 adults with above average pizza for less than $ 10. This is why I am a frequent customer.

Like Allie A. said, sometimes us gals are just too damn lazy to cook (most likely we’re just too tired from work) & need to make it a pizza night. I can’t argue with genius.
The Boy has ordered here before for the Pac Man fight and said that he liked their pizza as I had a brief flashback from my college days scrambling to finding dollars for the delivery guy.
Maybe I was just really hungry or that exhausted, but our large half meat lovers
with half veggies pizza was really delicious. I mean DINE-o-freakin’-mite!
Overall, I would order from this location again for delivery. A large pizza is more than enough for two and there’s no split charge. He can have his and you can have yours. Also, they usuall have coupons and specials.
P. S. And ask for some extra garlic butter, dressings and marinara if you’re excessive like me to dip your pizza bones in or those yummy garlic rolls. You’ll thank me later. Fast, friendly delivery with reasonable prices. 5-​Stars for Five Star. :)

While this is better than any of your other pizza chains, within the last month order accuracy has been crappy and I order pizza 3 – 5 times a month. I had a pizza delivered tonight, ordered all the meats but asked that they omit certain meats on one half of the pizza. The girl read the order back to me for «accuracy» and the pizza that arrived was still all the meats. I made a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner instead. Previously, a few weeks ago we decided to call in an order and pick it up after grocery shopping, we were told 15 – 20 minutes and got there in 30, pizza still wasn’t made so we waited another 20. The girl brings it to the car and said she forgot to put extra cheese on it but she can make us a new one if we would like… No, I don’t want to wait another 30 minutes because this has already turned into an hour. The pizza here is great but seriously, what’s up with the order accuracy and not being on top of your game lately?

I’ve ordered from there 3 times now. The pizza has been consistently good and the employees are very friendly.

Funny, I’m upping Five Star pizza to a Four star rating.
As someone who is a bit too lazy to cook on a regular basis, we find ourselves ordering a lot of delivery, and we’ve tried everywhere in Riverside/​Avondale/​San Marco.
Five Star is consistent, good, and always delivers the same thin crust, greasy, foldable yumminess for a pizza joint.

Another year, another review of pizza delivery.
Living in Riverside seems like it should be a great place for pizza, and it absolutely is. However, most of the best and unique places don’t deliver. I had been alternating between Al’s and Vino’s when I found out that Five Star delivered. I had never eaten there, but was familiar with Five Star since I grew up in Orlando and spent a lot of time around the resorts that the Orlando Five Star locations serve.
My girlfriend and I split an extra large, and this thing was HUGE for the price. If you’ve ever eaten at a Costco food court, this pizza was almost identical. And let me tell you, in my opinion that is a great thing. So much delicious cheese, crispy thin crust, with a little bit too much sauce. Just like a Costco slice! Although unlike Costco they will bring it to my doorstep which is a huge advantage. I will definitely order again.
Based off of my difficulties in finding a consistent and delicious DELIVERY pizza in Riverside, this would be 5 stars if not for a few minor things. First, while the pizza did taste great, it had a funky smell. It didn’t taste like that until it was reheated the next day, where I could taste it and it was rather unpleasant. I’m hoping it was just a fluke. Second, no online ordering. One of the reasons I really like Vino’s is the multitude of options to get it to you — Five Star is phone only. A true first world problem I suppose. Anyway, if you’re in the area and aren’t actually going out in person for pizza give Five Star a call.

Been a loyal customer for almost 9 yrs. Always get the family feast for under 20 dollars. Best cheese ever. But today and one day a year ago they told me I couldn’t get the family feast without a coupon. They then didn’t need the coupon for a year. Today I called they refused to give me the family feast with one side and a 2 liter. They wanted to give me and additional side. It took 20 minutes to order because of a new guy training. When I said fine I’ll take the more expensive order with the extra side I didn’t want, I told them I only had $ 100 bill. The manager said he’d have to see if the driver felt comfortable holding change for 100. I’m sure the driver would’ve been comfortable with a great tip like we have been tipping forever. But apparently they tried everything to not make some money. We didn’t end up getting the pizza. They didn’t get my business. Bad business.

Five Star Pizza is very good the first time I ate there I received a coupon for a free large pizza the place is located on Plymouth St.

Poor customer service, pizza came 30 min late and was not even warm, asked the ck wings to be extra crispy and they almost seemed undercooked. I vote with my dollar and won’t be ordering anything from them again.

Unilocal helped me find this pizza joint. Take out or delivery only, but so worth it. Staff is friendly and funny. They always have a smile. Now onto the pizza. So good, the crust is perfect to hold any toppings you may desire.
I recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza. So much BACON!!! So much HAMBURGER! I love it. This is a go to spot for my pizza craving.

Been great for more than a decade now in my life; still the best delivery in town; the name is well earned.
The food has continued to be very solid in quality, if not improved over time, in my experience. Late night delivery is a bonus! (and please people, tip your delivery driver! I delivered years ago elsewhere, and I cannot tell you how heartless the average customer can be .not to mention it’s a dangerous job in more ways than one would think — show some respect!)

Fast delivery, awesome prices, and garlic rolls to kill for. I recommend the family special. Get pineapple and bacon. You won’t regret it.

Piss poor delivery area. Wanted delivery to a hospital in Springfield, which according to manager is too far of a drive; however, we’ve had this same place deliver to another hospital that is in the same direction (simply a turn north as opposed to a turn south on 95) and is only 0.8 miles difference. «The owner even lives in Springfield and won’t have us deliver to that area.» Piss poor customer service in that respect and what a waste of potential for business.

Fast delivery, excellent prices and I was impressed with the pizza. The wings were a little underdone for me but a few minutes in the oven fixed that problem. I’d call back just to flirt with the delivery girl, but seriously five star is legit.
