Emser Tile and Natural Stone

We were sold Merkrete Versatile Grout in Mocha and it was also suggested that we mix the grout with an additive called Grout Shield manufactured by Miracle Sealants Company. The grout all over the house turned out the wrong color. It was 5 or 6 different shades. It looked like a calico cat. We called Emser Tile and both manufacturers. Merkrete who is the grout manufacturer says an additive should not have been used. Emser tile and Miracle Sealants dispute this claim. Emser tile refunded the purchase price of only the grout and additive after we agreed to sign a release of liability. We signed the release after the installing flooring company removed all the grout and re-​grouted the entire house at no charge. We used Bostik Neverseal in the Latte color to re grout the entire house. It turned out the correct color and and will never need to be sealed.
I cannot recommend Emser Tile.
