Dollar Tree

Pretty cool dollar tree. They have party supplies, Mylar balloons, housewares, décor for every season and they even have a pretty decent selection of food for sale. The store is kept up pretty good and the staff is pretty friendly. Just be warned, it’s hard to not spend $ 20 plus every time you walk into this place. They even have some pretty cool book finds sometimes. Parking can get difficult because it’s the town center so be prepared to walk a little… Or a lot. Overall pretty hard to walk out of this place without something.

This is one of the better Dollar Tree stores in Jax. I’m sure that has something to do with the fact it’s located at the St. John’s Town Centre. It’s located in the part of the Town Centre where Target is and it’s next door to Pier One.
It’s clean and organized with friendly employees. I’ve never had a long wait to check out.
Love the $ 1 balloons. Can’t beat that deal! If the particular balloons you want aren’t already blown up, the employees are happy to fill the ones you want. I also buy gift bags here. They have them in a variety of sizes and designs. I just can’t pay $ 4 for a gift bag that’s going to end up in the trash. But $ 1… yes, yes, I can do that!
I find myself stopping in here for silly little things I remember I need while I’m shopping at SJTC. Cheap little things I want to grab really quickly so I don’t have to deal with Walmart. Once I came in just for super glue. Another time it was duct tape. You get the idea.
If you’re on this end of the Town Centre, it’s also a great place to grab a bottle of soda or water. They have both a Pepsi cooler and a Coke cooler with bottled drinks.
Just like the name states, everything is $ 1. And you don’t have to deal with the headache of Walmart if you’re just needing something simple.
