Hands down the best dance instruction I have ever received. I have taken lessons up and down the East Coast at numerous dance studios and salsa congresses and nobody has ever broken down the fine details and nuances of dance the way the instructors at Dance Salsa Jax do.
Ally Knight, who is also the director, is the greatest instructor I have ever learned from. Her detailed explanation of every movement helps any dancer from their very first lesson to experienced and advanced dancers.
The staff at Dance Salsa Jax are as friendly and polite as they are talented. They are not only exceptional dancers but they are amazing relatable instructors. On top of that, after only a short period of time you will wind up becoming personal friends with them. The wonderful people of Dance Salsa Jax are always out dancing around town and they also schedule different outings from time to time unrelated to dance to simply have fun and socialize with their students /​friends.
Make sure you check out their monthly Latin Addiction party. It’s always a great time and if you get there early enough they give a free lesson which is included with the admission to the party. It is a great way to get a feel for the instruction you will be receiving and the people you will be getting to know.
They not only taught me how to dance but they taught me how to love dancing.
