Really good food, pretty busy at lunch time. Very much like a Panera style place. Soup, Salad, Sandwiches, but also good pasta choices. Good consistency in food so I’ll go somewhat regularly.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out. We were close so decided this was where we were going to eat after church. As some others have said, this is very much like Panera although they serve breakfast. Idk if Panera does that or not. My family ordered the chicken carbonara and cavatapi pasta which was quite tasty. I ordered a breakfast item which was basically bacon and eggs with a side of toast. They were out of potatoes so I got fruit with it. For my so we ordered a grilled cheese kids meal which came with a cookie and a drink! Altogether we spent like $ 24. So really not bad. I was very impressed by the price. That said I do have to mention my «breakfast» was not as filling as I would have liked. I usually get full and can’t finish. But I was still hungry after my bacon and eggs I was eating off my sons plate. But let me tell you that hibiscus lemonade was delicious! I also got a chocolate bunny cake to take home. Yes it was moist and chocolatey goodness. I would come again but only if I’m really in the mood for it. It’s more of a light bite kind of place. I can’t forget to mention how great my service was. Everyone was very warm and friendly. They brought our food out. Cleaned up our table and asked if our meal was good. They were so nice and talked to us about our day and small talk. Very good employees at this location.

I’m pretty happy with this place. The food tastes good. I got broc and cheese soup and a turkey sandwich. I really liked the bread it was amazing. The soup was perfect. My daughter and husband both got Mac and cheese which they seemed to like a lot. We came with friends and it was a nice environment to sit and chat. My friend got breakfast it look pretty good! We would gladly come again and next time I will try the baked goods! Yum!

Cute place, busy at all times from what I’ve seen. The workers appeared happy and personable. Spotlessly clean. My daughter had the truffle hot chocolate and frankly, that was one of the best hot chocolates I’ve tried in a very long time. The chocolate mini bundt cake was almost brownie like in its consistency. It was delicious but way too much for one person, so I’m glad we split it. I had a salted caramel latte and it was a disappointment. It didn’t taste all that«caramelly» until I got to the bottom to discover the caramel syrup had sunk to the bottom. Eeep. Contrary to the name, it is definitely more café than bakery. I peeked on other people’s tables and the sandwiches and pasta they were eating did look really good, so we will come back for an actual meal one day and try out the food.

Breakfast might just not be their thing, and if you only pour ingredients out and warm them, well a restaurant title may not be correct. I’ve had great lunches here and everything seemed fresh. Breakfast, well only scrambled eggs as they come from a box and not the shell, a shell would require a chef, ok a cook, well maybe a line cook. Sausage patties had a great flavor, but like Jimmy Dean, if you don’t nuke well enough they are still cold in the center, IE they never touched a grill. The toast was great, they claim to be a bakery so that’s a good thing, remember though it’s served dry. The potatoes mixed with onion are most likely the only ingredient prepared, but I could be wrong. I call for a new classification in dinning. Fast food is self explanatory, but there need to be a new classification for the pretty packaged stores the serve factory created foods and not fresh food.

I was looking for something akin to a British sandwich while in Jacksonville when a wrong turn to get onto one of the bridges brought me to this place. Serving a range of salads and sandwiches and wraps and stuff. Everything we had tasted great and was refreshing.

I stopped for coffee and a coffee cake. Delicious. I always enjoyed this brand in Chicago. I am glad it is here in Jacksonville.

I finally had a chance to visit the Corner Bakery Café this morning. It reminded me of a smaller Panera’s, but it a good way. I just had a cup of coffee and a croissant. Both were great! If I were in the area, I would return and have breakfast or lunch.

My first visit, I had no idea what to expect besides baked goods. I was pleasantly surprised with the combo that included a creamy chicken pasta and a side salad. The girl behind the counter was quite pleasant and explained the various choices available. Unfortunately, I was too full to try the desserts but they had a variety of loafs muffins and cookies that looked delicious. It’s a great place to hold a small group meeting not a loud atmosphere. There were electric outlets available and free WiFi.

I ordered the new steak and cheese sandwich to go, which was still fresh and hot when we got back to our lunch spot. Bread was soft and not chewy, and whatever they call their dipping sauce is amazing. Just wish they gave you more if it and maybe even a straw for it. I got the old fashion lemonade as it was hot out today and it hit the spot. Not to tangy but not weak and watered down either. Great new sandwich will get it again next time and ask for extra sauce.

I’m not sure what seems to be the problem here. They can’t seem to get either the chilled or warm oatmeal ready in a reasonable time. We showed up about an hour after they opened and neither was ready to be served. Also, it appears that they don’t take much pride in how clean their dining area is. There was food and crumbs all over the tables and seats. Either they had a large breakfast rush or they still haven’t cleaned since last night. We’ve been disappointed both times we have some here and I think it will be our last visit.

Came here for a late brunch and wanted to try the place located in Riverside. Nicely situated and easily accessible. Outside seating is available. Place was clean and employee were warm friendly and inviting. Ordered the Flatbread wrap with a side of oatmeal. Definitely fulfilling and right on time. I would make sure that my bacon is a little crispy but that’s my personal thing. Other than that all was well with my soil and appetite.

Ok this visit started our really bad. I was in line and the young lady re-filling the lemonade I guess saw something flowing in what was in the dispenser. She just reached in without a glove on and plucked whatever it was out. I knew right then that I would not be drinking that stuff. Thou I do normally get lemonade. Ok I looked at their breakfast menu and went with the bacon, egg n cheese Panini. I got my drink and to my surprise Fresca. Talk about a blast from the past. I haven’t seen this in years. It was just about the highlight of my meal. When my Panini showed up I did notice it was quite dark. This thing was hurt your teeth overcooked. I mean look at the picture the cheese was melted right into the bread like it was painted on. The crust was really close to uneatable for me. I did crack it open and eat the bacon from within. Now being a good Unilocaler I sat in the parking lot and read some of the reviews and let me say they are a bunch short of stellar. Should have been my first strike. Then the girl with her fingers in the lemonade. Swing and a miss #2. Then to send them packing was the forgotten Panini on the griddle that they served me. See ya, and I will be dragged back into this place before I eat here again.

Came for lunch during break and got the DC chicken salad sandwich! Very delicious. It had pieces of green apples, tiny baby grapes, celery, chicken(of course), walnuts and slices of tomatoes. Well prepared and taste was amazing. There was a good amount of chicken salad, which you don’t usually see much at restaurants. It’s stuffed so much that some fall off the sides, which does not bother me. I scooped it up with my potato chips :). Any restaurant that has a chicken salad or tuna salad sandwich, I always go for it. Just love it. If you want a pastry, the chocolate bundt was very moist and to die for. :)

Brand new, looked promising. Not that great, overpriced. The avocado breakfast sandwich had 3 slivers of avocado. I laughed out loud when I lifted the top to see where they were cause I couldn’t taste it. The photo of the sandwich looked far different than the reality. No reason to ever return. Service spotty, coffee okay.

This is literally just a different colored schemed Panera. If you like Panera then go here. It’s a nice addition to a neighborhood going through gentrification. You can also go here if you need to go to the Fresh Market. Service is meh and food is good with knowing it’s not made in house.

This is a great location located in Riverside with a very helpful staff. This was my very first time at this location and the food was delicious. I went with their Signature Sandwich Combo choosing the half Spicy Asian Pork sandwich and a cup of their zesty chicken tortilla soup with a bag of chips and pickle spear. This was very flavorful and filling. The pork was tender and the tortilla soup has a little kick and I liked that. I hope they keep that sandwich on the menu. The atmosphere here is cozy and the food is a great value with the many choices and combinations they offer. I’ve loved and missed Corner Bakery Café since I’ve moved from L.A. I’m so happy they put a location in Riverside now where I can indulge in their fresh sandwiches, salads & soups on those days when I just don’t feel like cooking. Oh and definitely leave room for a slice of their Cinnamon Crème Cake. I love that cake and you can always pick up a whole one all wrapped up to go anytime.
