This is probably my favorite thrift store. It’s pretty well-organized, and the selection is huge. My top criticism is the lack of central A/C. It’s Florida! I had to leave last time because I was schvitzing. Another dressing room would also be nice, especially with a mirror!

The City Thrift Store has Am-Vet trucks outside, not clear if that is their charity or not. They are well organized, most clothes are sorted by size, everything is priced individually. Quality names are a little scarce, but you can find them. Don’t know if my timing was off, but the place was hopping, lots of folks milling around. One dressing room only, with a line. Long line at the check out. I put the two items I was interested in up and walked out. Maybe I’ll try again some other day.

Ok, so I have some hesitation about writing this one… because, well this is my spot. I think that it is one of the best thrift stores in Jacksonville. It is not too over shopped and you can definitely find some gems here.
Just promise you won’t tell anyone else about this place.
