Small location inside baptist. People are great. Food is fast and hot. A great place to go when you have to be stuck on a hospital

Avoid this place during lunch time as its a madhouse during lunch house for employees of the hospital. But it is nice to have the option of eating something other than typical cafeteria food. The workers at this Fila are not usually quite as chipper or over the top as most locations are, but it’s likely that they are over worked.

This Chick-Fil-A stays busy since it’s located in Baptist hospital downtown. This location has some of the items you’ll find in a typical Chick-Fil-A, but you«order» assembly-line style… Pick up a tray, then a soda… then head into the line and grab the item or items of your liking… at the end of the line you pay for everything and then it’s off to the seating area to eat… Seating may be hard to find due to it’s location. The food is typical Chick-Fil-A — -nothing special…

Come when its not lunch time! This is delicious and convenient although not very healthy for you. But its a much better option than McDonalds or BK omg the sauces. Also, free refills while you’re inside. Note: Yes they do cook their food and put it under the heat lamp, but this place is so crowded that the time its under the heat lamp is a few minutes at best most times. They don’t over stock the heat lamp area. Its just to make it more convenient for you. There are many times when I had to wait for them to finish cooking and this seems to be the norm, and I have zero problem with that :)

This review is more of a 2.5 than a 3. Chick-fil-A hospital style. You walk in and pick up a tray and move down the line grabbing what you want along the way, in true hospital fashion. At the end of the line, you’ll find two registers set up where you pay. They do not offer as many options as other Chick-fil-A restaurants. For example, they have a couple of salads, but not the variety you will find at the normal restaurants. During the peak hours, odds are, you’ll get a nice hot sandwich, nuggets, or fries. However, at other times of the day, odds are you’ll get food that has been sitting under heating lamps for who knows how long. The employees here are rude. Period. You’re expected to keep the line moving and not bother them in any way. I’m use to Chick-fil-A employees being friendly and kind. Apparently the employees here missed that class. If you want sauce for your nuggets, you’ll find it at the secondary register. It’s not located with the napkins, straws, ketchup, etc. What totally threw me is the fact they charge for a cup of ice water. Granted they only charge $.25, but hey, it’s MY $.25! No other Chick-fil-A charges for water. When I questioned the girl at the cash register about it(compared to other Chick-fil-A restaurants), she got very pissy with me — and I was totally nice about it. Whatever! Finding a clean table during peak hours will be difficult. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself grabbing napkins and wiping a table down yourself. Take note: They are only open Monday through Friday from 7am until 4pm. So, having food sitting under heating lamps, having rude employees, having dirty tables, and charging for water makes me wonder if the Powers That Be at Chick-fil-A headquarters know what’s going on here. I’d like to think if they did, they wouldn’t be real thrilled about it. Hmmm… maybe I should give them a call.

This particular Chick-fil-A is located on the first floor of the Howard Building at Baptist Medical Center Downtown. It is accessible to the public, located right within the front doors near Outpatient, Maternity and the Pharmacy. Well, I don’t care to go to Chick-fil-A normally because I don’t believe in their political practices, but I was rather suckered into going there this morning because we had to wait on a family member in the hospital who was having a procedure. We wanted to stay nearby and not go all the way to another building up to the 8th floor cafeteria — and there sits Chick-fil-A, open and available.(This place is a gold mine. It’s open M-F, 7 am to 4 pm, and the 3 hours I was waiting nearby, the place was packed the entire time. *ka-ching*) What a mistake. This is an «Express», so the food is pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp waiting for you to serve yourself. If they run out of something under the heat lamp, you can ask a worker and they’ll make it for you out of pre-made items behind the counter. Since it was breakfast, I asked for a bacon egg & cheese biscuit and literally watched the woman take the already cooked pieces, assemble them, and wrap them up and hand them to me. All the components were at room temperature except for the egg flap which was kept in something that looked like a steamer. The biscuits were dry and crumbly and, while the egg one was edible, the bacon was something like the shelf-stable pre-cooked bacon you buy at the grocery store — cooked but limp. I also grabbed a chicken biscuit from under the heat lamp. The chicken filet was sweet. I don’t understand that at all. The highlight of the place(besides the free Purell hand wipes at the beginning) was the«fresh-squeezed» lemonade. That was very tart and tasty. Once again, thank you Chick-fil-A for reminding me that not only do your political practices suck, your food is too expensive for the poor quality and, to quote Ned Flanders, just«Sucks-diddly-ucks!»
