Beaches Super Buffet

I frequent this buffet for lunch during the week. The food is great and has always been fresh. I love their pepper chicken! The service is fast, attentive and friendly. It’s a great place for a quick cheap lunch.

Let’s start on a positive note –
Service was very friendly. They’re prompt and courteous; plates were cleared off pretty quickly. The guy at the Mongolian Grill was also nice.
Décor-​wise, it’s fairly typical for a Chinese buffet. Walls are a little grimy and things are brightly colored; but overall it was pretty clean. There’s also tons of seating.
It was also fairly priced and the bathrooms were kept clean.
Getting down to business — food was very bland.
That’s something I never thought I’d have to say about a Chinese buffet, but it’s true. From the tomato salad to the Mongolian Grill, everything was severely under-​seasoned; even the apple turnover wasn’t sweet. It all looked pretty fresh, it was just boring to eat. If I hadn’t been starving, I probably would’ve gone elsewhere.
The selection was pretty lacking too. They didn’t have a lot of buffet staples — no green beans, no beef broccoli, etc. The dessert selection was pretty decent though; but that’s not saying much since most of those probably came out of a box.
I’d probably go here if I was in a pinch, but it’s not my first, second, or third choice.

Worst buffet ever! Everything is dirty! The bathroom is filthy!
Food tasted like it has been hanging out outside for at least a full day. All my meat, chicken, and fish err ridiculously over cooked!
Customer service is ok, but I didn’t complain at all… due to the fact my list of complaints would be everything! This is one sad, very sad, super sad establishment! I don’t remember ever having such a terrible experience at any food establishment!
Stay away from this place for a good while! I hope management reads my review and improves on everything!

My husband and I went there today about 1:30. The man that was going to seat us became rude when we said that we wanted a booth and he just huffed off, he said they were all full. We walked to the other side where there were plenty of booths. The server took our drink order, brought it and never returned. We got our food, the food was ok… the sticky white rice was very dry. They are leaving it in the open instead of in a pot covered which to me is usually the norm for rice as it dries out. We ate, our server never returned to give us a bill. We walked to the register to pay, I noticed lots of styrofoam containers (I imagine for take out), some were cut in half. I asked if I could have a little container to give my dog some water (I had bottled water with me), she replied as rude as she could that my dog could get water somewhere else! My husband picked up one of the containers that were cut in half and gave it to me for our dog. She started asking, why you taking my container? I did not respond, she told me I was rude. I was just amazed that they would treat their paying customers in such a rude manner. We paid, did not leave a tip and told them we would never be back, that they wouldn’t make it. They had closed once before and will close again. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be treated in that manner! Those people are in the wrong business. Restaurant business is about, CUSTOMER SERVICE! Would never go back!!! Why would anyone deny their customer a little container to give their dog some water??? Must be animal haters!

My friend didn’t sleep the whole night running to the bathroom.
So just be careful, cause we are not sure what exactly did we eat that was bad.

Miso and hibachi were great today. I don’t have high expectations when dining at a AUCE buffet. The host and server were nice. Our water glasses never went empty. And we didn’t have dirty plates on the table when we came back with a new plate. The mussels were steamed nice. The hibachi was my high point though. I chose my items and the cook seasoned my food nicely. The pork was tender and veges al dente! Good job today! :)

Defnitely did not enjoy it here. The only good thing was the Hibachi and our waitor was really nice. The food was barely warm and really dry, it was probably old. The decoration and furniture needs to be desperately updated. The staff was really loud and inconsiderate as well. The location and area is really shabby and run down. I won’t be going back.

The place gets a star for having a good amount of food choices for a Chinese buffet. However, we were not able to enjoy any of it because it was all cold. And I don’t mean just not hot, I mean *cold.* Almost everything. I think the only thing that wasn’t cold was the noodles. I’m not sure if maybe something wasn’t working with their heaters/​burners on the day we went, or what, but it was all pretty awful. We were really hoping for a better experience.

My mom and I have enjoyed Chinese food and many buffets but they are becoming increasingly scarce. So we found this one while out shopping. It wasn’t crowded and looked clean. The food was pretty darn good, if I do say so. Many different chicken, beef and seafood choices. I’m afraid of buffet sushi so I steered clear of that. Will return as long as it doesn’t close.

Fresh seafood fare.. oysters, mussels and steamed flounder. That’s all I come for. The rest of the food is decent. Downside? Owner/​Manager (?) Had the sorriest attitude. Not friendly at all and down right rude. Never acknowledged me while she was ringing me up. All I got was halfass smile (more like a smirk) after I thanked her with a sincere smile.

Surprisingly pleasant food. Will partake in another food adventure again at this establishment!

When I think of banana pudding I think of beaches super buffet… amazing, exception, unreal all adjectives that would describe this establishment… snaps for beaches

Very nice people serving a lots of low quality food. It is a shame. Uggggg. I should have known by all the signs on the wall written in magic marker. If you want chinese go to a good chinese restaurant.

I think I will be back! It is great except for my own embarrassing moment. I had a spare rib bone fly across the room. They saw and picked it up for me. «I’ll get it sir». Lol
Also the banana pudding is great’

Excellent costumer service, horrible food. I’m not a buffet person, but my boyfriend is, he made a deal with me this morning that if I tried this buffet with him he would buy me a dress. He was so excited, until we got up to the buffet. A lot of the meats were gone, and nothing really looked fresh. It could have potentially been leftovers from yesterday. We didn’t let that stop us, we filled up our plates with what was on the buffet and took our seats. Forks and knives in hand, we «dug in.» Immediately there was a mutual feeling that came over us that this place is not somewhere we should be eating, but still we pressed on, I mean if we are paying for it, might as well try to get something out of it, right? Wrong, I had to stop after each item I sampled! I knew if I kept eating I would be paying for it later.
I gave this place two stars, one for excellent costumer service and the second for the environment. The restaurant was decorated appropriately and appeared to be very clean. I probably will not be returning, unless its under new kitchen management.

You ever get super excited to try a buffet? It’s kinda hard not to when you are surrounded by sweaty guys that have just finished playing 3 hours of football (even through the rain). But this place is pretty nice. Although hidden.
Walked in surround with friends and construction workers opened the door and said «enjoy your day «then greeted by a short man and woman. The guys were ready to eat. I asked to walk around and just check the place out. Huge buffet! Super buffet! And everything looked delicious. And super clean. Like nothing out of place.
Except the sushi area. Eating sushi off a buffet always seemed extremely adventurous for my taste. Although the area looked clean — sushi was just sitting out uncovered and there wasn’t a person manning the area? So how long has it been sitting there? I also don’t think I was seeing real tuna or crab — probably imitation. But not surprised by that either.
But eat your weight since it’s all you can eat. And the food is pretty good.
