Ashley’s Petals & Angels

The name of this place kind of makes me a little nauseous but the prices are reasonable and my mom and grandma love the arrangements. Also delivery has been on-​time, which is always a plus when you’re the delinquent daughter. They seem to get really top quality flowers that last.

My brother-​in-​law and his (then) fiancé ordered their flowers from Ashley’s. I have to admit that I was skeptical, because the storefront is on Diamond which doesn’t get much foot traffic, and the street is dark, but this place has tons of bright colors attached to it.
I was even more skeptical when the florists arrived on the day before the wedding to decorate the chapel. Cut flowers in vases were placed on the altar and I thought, «Dear God, dead flowers on the altar tomorrow is gonna look reeeeeeeeeeeeeeal klassy!» I’ve never seen a florist bring flowers to a function the day before an event.
Well, consider me incorrect. The day of the wedding, the flowers on the altar still looked bright and gorgeous, and all the bridesmaid flowers were lovely. My sister-in-law’s bouquet was gorgeous, and the guys’ flowers were really nice. The groom had a nifty spirally thing wrapped around his flower.
Overall, I was happily surprised. The flowers were gorgeous and stayed lovely well after the wedding was over. I can recommend them based on what I saw, but I don’t want to give 5 stars without knowing what they were like to work with in their office. Overall, decent quality.
