Adventure Landing

Ehhh… not bad, not too great either. could use some updating, maybe expansion. Laser tag is really fun and seems to work well. Great course. The go carts are a little worn but were fun. My son loved it. The games inside need some could use some updating and repair. It’s fun for a couple of hours on an afternoon with the kids. Prices are about average and there are some good coupons online.

We came here for the afternoon to let the kids play for the day. No complaints, the «rides» were good. It was a bit overpriced in my opinion for the size, amount of rides, etc. Lazy river at most places is a nice place to relax. There was little supervision in this lazy river and kids would run around with no tubes etc. That would be my only complaint. Kids did lazer tag and they enjoyed that, too!

Winter Wonderland in Jacksonville? Yes, at Adventure Landing they have a section of their water park made into a winter wonderland, complete with ice skating, alpine «ice» slide, and a very pretty Christmas village.
The nightly «snowfall» was a complete joke, and not a very good one. At certain times after dark, a pipe blows out soap flakes (some good size clumps) and that is it!
They have the cutest Santa Claus set I have ever seen, if you have not taken your kids to see Santa yet, this would be a good place to go. When we were there on a Sunday evening, there was no line at all and Santa had time to chat with the kids.
There are lots of cute & pretty scenes that you can pose around, such as giant wooden soldiers and Christmas trees.
The food and drink prices are as you can guess, are very expensive (that is where AL makes their money).

I hope to get back there again, my kids loved the ice skating, and surprise (total native Florida kids) did really good for their first time on ice skates. Maybe this time I can talk them into visiting Santa at least one more time (they are 14 & 10) but I’d love a picture of them with this Santa, he looked like the real thing!
Anyway, I think your family would enjoy this outing too.
