Carrie Fox is amazing! I went in with bad color done at another salon and wasn’t even sure if it could be fixed. I’m beyond happy with my hair and am so glad I found her! She took so much time with my hair and even fit me into her schedule by staying later. I’m so glad she took the time to fix my hair and give me exactly the look I wanted! The salon itself is also the nicest I’ve been to. Everyone is really nice and patient. They listen to make sure they are able to give you the hairstyle you want and I felt pampered the whole time I was there-​from the paraffin wax hand treatment to the latte they made me! By far the best salon I’ve been to!

Such a great experience today at Sutra with Carrie Fox, she is beyond talented and took sooo much time with sooo much hair! I love it and am so happy to have found her!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Carrie did a fab job on my hair. I have LOTS, I mean LOTS of hair and most stylists are immediately overwhelmed by it and she did a fantastic job on my long layers, got exactly the hair style I wanted and she achieved the exact same color when I asked for caramel ribbons on my hair. She is worth every penny! I’m sad I moved out of Jax and wish I would have found her sooner. You won’t be disappointed she is super professional, really listens and pays attention to what you want. She was super patient and detailed to make sure the job was done perfectly! I would give her 6 stars if I could.

Erin did a FAB job on my hair. She did a fantastic color and cut. This was the first time that I had been to Sutra. I will say that the positive Unilocal reviews were a factor in my decision to try this salon. I walked in and was greeted with a glass of wine (great start!) Erin probably spent 3 hours total with me. She didn’t rush through anything and ensured that it came out great. I will most definitely return!

I’m pretty sure Carrie Fox is psychic. I can usually go to a stylist, point to a section of my hair and say «like this, but touched up.» Unfortunately for me, the stylist I saw previously at another salon had absolutely botched my hair. I went to Carrie at Sutra and simply said «for the love of God, NOT this.» I have a terrible time explaining what I’m looking for, but Carrie took my disjointed thoughts, jumped right in and NAILED IT. She did exactly what I had in mind with the color AND the cut. Carrie is a Jedi mind reader. I do not live in Jacksonville, but I’ll go out of my way for an appointment with her when I’m there!

Sutra Salon has a great atmosphere and Carrie Fox always does an amazing job with my hair! She gives great advice when I want to change things up and does a great job of maintaining my current style. Plus, she’s always good for a laugh! I look forward to my appointments every month. Everyone knows finding a new stylist is hard but I was lucky to find her right after I moved to Florida 2 years ago.

is so helpful truly caring wanting you and your experience to be amazing, and I can a sure you it will be. Not only do they do the most amazing colour and style, I had them do make up before an important event that I ask for them to please HELP !!! WOW I had the best evening and looked great, along with my daughter who loves Sutra’s and has been going for a few years now. We were told about Sutra’s by a friend and I am always thanking her. Went here for a haircut for the first time today and absolutely loved it! Everyone is so friendly and Caitlin, my stylist, is brilliant! I’ve been looking for a new salon, and I’ve finally found it. Thanks for the great cut!

This place is amazing! Sutra is my go to salon and it never disappoints! The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. My hair always looks fabulous thanks to my amazing stylist Allison. She always does the best job and knows exactly what I want. I would recommend this salon.

This was my first time at Sutra, and I saw Erin for a haircut. I was a bit nervous since this was a haircut correction and I had never been there, but Erin was EXCELLENT! I loved the laid back atmosphere and the trendy vibe of the salon. I already booked my follow up appointment and will definitely be coming back on a regular basis!

First review of the year!
So did anyone notice how awesome my hair looked at the end of the year Unilocalie Awards? Well if you didn’t, it was GORG! I went to see Brittney at Sutra to get a blow so my hair would look nice for the event. She convinced me to go with curls, which I’ve never done because I don’t know how to do it? She turned my flat, pin straight, baby hair in fabulous, bouncing tresses! HOW DID SHE DO IT?!
Everyone knows I’ve had my fair share of hair salons. I had my top sort when I had my blonde locks and now I have Sutra for my brunette tresses. BRITTNEY is flipping amazing. Not only have I seen her work on others but myself as well. I went to another salon (which I won’t name because the girl who did my hair was a little bit scary and aggressive and I don’t want her to track me down) when my hair was platinum and I wanted to begin the process of getting it brown again. This girl turned my hair 50 shades of grey. Literally. Grey. Thankfully, I stopped by the trendy Sutra Salon and Brittney saved the day! She swooped in and painted me with the most beautiful color of brown I could ask for! Ever since then, I’m just so thrilled with the vibrancy of my hair color; not to mention she is on point with the cut. Pick a cut, any cut, this girl’s got your back.
Awesome thing number 2: with every hair treatment you get wine (or another beverage) and a paraffin treatment for your hands! Triple dipped in delicious hot wax and wrapped up while you get your hair washed. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, fun, and has great music. I haven’t worked with any of the other girls but they all seem sweet and they have a fun time and always join in on conversation.
Do yourself a favor and go get this year started right with a hot new head of hair!
