What happened to the great customer service at this Pier 1 location? Took way too long to check out for a simple purchase by one employee who seemed she had no training or knowledge of the point of sale terminal. There was very little help offered from another lady when I showed her a print out of what I was looking for. There was one lady that was able to find an answer to my question on the cost for a glass, but seemed short in her response with a scowl on her face. The only qualied person working there was running around too busy to help anyone. This used to be such a nice location to shop at. Won’t be visiting that store any time soon!

Pier 1 is like the upscale version of Homegoods, but you typically only go there with a purpose. You can find furniture, throw pillows, and many other room décor options. If you need a nice hostess gift, and you’re stuck on what to get something, try Pier 1. They can be kind of pricey — depending on the piece — but keep your eyes out for the sales. And if that piece in the corner is marked down for because it’s got a scratch, inspect it. The scratch might be somewhere it’s never even noticeable, but you’ll get a great break on the price. If you’re looking for that perfect piece to complete your room, but you can’t put your finger quite on what exactly you need, peruse the nooks & crannies of Pier 1, I’m sure you’ll find something that will work perfectly.
