This is our 2nd home and we love it! Quiet place, great neighbors and friends and we’re at the beach, nuff said!

I’ve lived in the Ocean’s Edge condominium complex for nearly a year and have really enjoyed it. The property is incredibly well maintained(landscaping crew visits 1 – 2 times per week) and the staff is friendly inside the Leasing Office. Each unit is individually owned and operated. I have been renting from the owner of my unit for $ 1,200 per month, which does not include utilities(electricity, water, sewage) or cable/internet. My unit has state-of-the-art appliances in the kitchen and laundry room and is fully carpeted, except for the kitchen and bathroom(obviously). The pool on site is gorgeous and perfectly maintained as well. There is a covered grilling area with two gas grills and high tables and bar areas to sit. This area really comes in handy whenever you want to grill and meet some of the residents, because during the summer, there are always people outside chatting and cooking together. In my opinion, the worst part of Ocean’s Edge is the parking situation. Every tenant is given 1RESERVED parking spot and an additional VISITORS parking spot if another person is on your lease. However, in my parking lot, the VISITORS spots are few and far between, making it tough to find a spot for our second car, as I live with my girlfriend and we both have a car. Also, if you want to have someone come over, you must obtain a VISITORS pass from the office only during office hours. They also only offer passes for guests for 1 – 2 days at a time. Having someone visit for a week? That requires multiple stops at the office throughout the week to get a pass. If you have someone come over at night, you must text message a police officer on site to come and drop one off at your door. The local towing company will tow your car(costing you $ 150 to get it out of the impound) if you fail to get a pass. It makes it extremely difficult to have people come over unless it was determined well beforehand. The closest place to park NOTONSITE is on 3rd Street, which is the busiest street at the Beaches. Not ideal if you’re paranoid about someone sideswiping your car, which has happened at this complex multiple times. However, living in Ocean’s Edge has many more positives than negatives. The walls aren’t paper thin, so you won’t hear every little movement from your neighbors. Mostly everyone who lives in the complex is friendly and will say«Hello» when passing by. It’s a gorgeous place to live that is just 2 streets from the Beach. The Atlantic Ocean is in your subdivision, if you want to look at it like that. I do, at least. I’m very happy I live here and can’t be too upset about what I’m getting for the price I pay. Sure, no one wants to pay rent and bills but it’s nice when you know you’re safe and living in a gorgeous area. Even just writing this post has allowed me to appreciate what I have a little more. If you’re thinking about living here, I’d recommend it. 4 stars.
