Jax Elite Event: Marlin Moon Grille

I think I’m still stuffed. Allie did a fantastic job organizing and providing hospitality at the Marlin Moon event, and the food — it was delicious and speaks for itself. The old TacoLu makes a great comeback as a Maryland-​style seafood spot.
The signature Crush drinks, complete with freshly squeezed citrus juice (I love the grapefruit variety and orange is second favorite), were free flowing.
The creamy crab dip was a favorite. The ahi nachos were bite-​sized and full of flavor too. The crispy chicken wings with a chunky blue cheese dressing were quickly devoured from our table. Loved the kataifi wrapped jumbo shrimp with a sweet chili sauce.
Our server Brad deserves a special round of applause. He worked hard, with a smile, and quickly answered our questions when we had them, Great job Brad!
Very laid back event with a steady flow of food and drink — no lulls. Conversation was great and meeting other elite Unilocalers is always fun in my book.
