Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach Ponte Vedra

This is a good hotel but not a great one in my experience. Tacky floor. Iffy AC. Breakfast was just ok. Breakfast attendant loitered at counter rather than in buffet area so the food was not full or fresh in the trays.

I stayed here six days during TPC Sawgrass. had a great stay. Complimentary breakfast, pretty good Internet, courteous staff. Plenty of parking. They kept the room clean and did a great job. Beds were SUPER comfortable too. I’d definitely come again. No complaints.

I was a bit disappointed at the overall presentation of our Jacuzzi Suite, and for the price I paid I expected more.
Getting checked in wasn’t a problem, I made my reservations online so it was easy. The cookie and complimentary water must have ran away, because we didn’t get it.
The carpet where the base boards are were coming apart and sort of dingy so I didn’t bother looking at the carpet any further.
The Jacuzzi had black hair around the sides of it and green stuff where the water runs. I called the front desk, they had someone up right away. But, he didn’t look like he enjoyed his job at all and after he called maid service they tried to explain how they can’t remove those stains because it’s from the water dripping. I’ve been in Jacuzzi suites from Oregon to Florida and that isn’t acceptable!!!
We later found more black hair in the shower… And a whole lot of hair under the bed. I dropped something and had to push the mattress over and I was totally disgusted!
I decided not to call the front desk and I also decided at that moment I wouldn’t be returning.
Since I always try to give a positive I must say that the bed was comfortable, and the front desk employees were very kind and helpful.

Because I take a hand towel to wipe up the hair and the towel was black !
No more ! Hampton Inn for me !

$ 123.00 a night you should have a comfortable bed clean bathroom etc !
Most travelers are only there less than
8 hrs.
Shower head wouldn’t adjust.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Now if you’re strictly looking for a bed to crash in I could up it to 2 stars. However, we flew in for a wedding and stayed at this hotel. Things went downhill quite quickly. We entered the room to a post it on out bed telling us «sheets and duvet were cleaned for our arrival» really? I sure would hope so! Things got worse from there. When I booked the reservation the man told me that we would be allowed to cancel the room for the night which was not the wedding. Sitting by the pool that is in a parking lot on a main road with no sun whatsoever we were bummed. We paid all this money to fly to Florida to listen to traffic, screaming children and being splashed by the hose the kids decided to play with. We decided to move to a different hotel and when asked if we could cancel the lady assured us that it would be fine. We booked the other hotel went to the desk and the lady who told is this was gone. The new shift workers told us absolutely not. When we explained the situation they told us it was too bad. We called the Hilton Headquarters who told us that as a franchise it was the Hampton’s decision. We woke up to awful breakfast (over cooked eggs and ham) and a lack of forks or coffee. But worse the guy wasn’t even able to call a cab for us. Terrible hotel and even worse customer service. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to stay at a place that has more to offer and good customer service!

Man, what a place! They definitely had great service when I went in. We came in on a whim for some rest and relaxation and were able to scoop up a room with no problem and enjoy the wonderful amenities. We received cookies and water to take upstairs, as well enjoyed the awesome cable.
The room was so clean and inviting. I was impressed by the bed, the tv and the bathroom. Everything was absolutely perfect. I didn’t feel skeeved by the room or like I would bring home something nasty. I felt comfortable.
The bed was amazing. So soft and warm and the pillows were absolutely perfect.
I guarantee I would come back just to sleep in the bed without any issues.
Stay here and I promise it will be some of the greatest sleep you have ever had.

I’ve been here on and off for 3 months working an out of town project. The place is clean, the breakfast is great and its the best value in the area. The staff is very attentive to the guests and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is a managers mixer in the lobby 2 nights a week that’s a nice extra. The only downside is no guest washer/​Dryer on the property. There is a laundromat within a mile of the hotel. Plenty of places to eat if you go north to Jacksonville Bch, eating in Ponte Vedre can get a little pricey.
It also has a pool.

Third Hampton on our Florida trip and, hands down, the best! As they say, Location, Location, Location and this Hampton has it all. Conveniently located a short distance from TPC Sawgrass and next door to a top shelf restaurant, it is a place we have stayed at many times.
While all Hampton’s have free breakfast, this location takes it to the next level. The dining area has been completely remodeled and the breakfast staff has always been exemplary. the rooms are always clean, the pool is nice and it has easy access to main highways. Very close to Jax Beach and a nice drive to St Augustine. We will be back the next time we are in the area.
