Good food. Solid service. Would recommend. Didn’t LOVE. We had the fried olives, chicken sweetbread nuggets, fried green tomatoes, bbq duck sandwich and Korean short ribs. Everything was tasty, but sort of one note. Nothing was bursting with flavor. That being said, the cocktails were delicious though not strong and the atmosphere is warm and modern. We were able to find parking easily even though there didn’t appear to be any valet. Stop in if you’re nearby for sure, but not worth the 40 minute trek from the beaches.

They are a surf shop they have surfing boards and belly boards and even wax. Now I haven’t been in Blacksheep for a while but I just wanted to see what they have. They do have a lot of cool stuff but I’m thinking of getting a new board for the upcoming season. Pray for warm water n waves.

Baaa Baaa Black Sheep… while this quaint Surf Shop may have a slightly thinner coat of wool than it’s bigger and more mature brethren in the Jax Beach flock, I found the staff to make up for the difference… During my visit, I found Grant to be highly knowledgeable on local surf tradition, sources for niche product, and very outgoing… Pros: Carries local brands and has them in stock, atypical of «Local Surf Shop», prices/deals are competitive, and staff was off the chain… Cons: No website, limited range of sizes on «Black Sheep» private label product(definitely wanted a Black Sheep trophy to return home with) Great little shop and I’d highly recommend the shop to any surfers visiting the Jax Beach area… knock em’ dead Grant!!!
