A cute shop. Coming from out of the area, it was a bit of a hike in the middle of nowhere, and the outer appearance made me doubt whether I’d like it. What exactly is in the building directly behind the parking lot? I imagine on a summer day with the patio fully being utilized, this would make for a more appealing landscape. Upon entering the small shop, inviting scents and visually appealing colors welcomed me. Because it was Valentine’s day weekend, the shop was covered in beautiful flowers. Everywhere I looked there were flowers. Roses to be exact. The store is arranged nicely for the amount of space they are working with. Be very careful… this is not a place to bring your stroller into unless you want to risk knocking something off the rack. Prices are a bit steep. I can understand to an extent. The chocolates being sold were from another store(as per the label), so in order to make a profit, there had to be an upcharge. It makes sense… you’re paying a little more for the convenience of gettting… say the chocolate and some other gift all in one place. It’s nice to have the option, but if you’re looking for reasonable prices, it isn’t happening here. I appreciate the off the wall items that are unique. They have Alex and Ani, and other bracelet brands I haven’t heard of that might be the next hit. I was bummed about not seeing the entry forms for the lipstick kiss contest. Over by that area was some coffee and mini biscotti. I wasn’t sure if this was complimentary or something you had to pay for. A sign would help. The staff was friendly and helpful. A little too helpful for my taste, but I’m just a person who would rather look around on my own. I’m certain, on this weekend in particular, some of the men found the willingness to help pick out items and answer questions very pleasing. The bag you receive your purchase in is cute. I would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted to be on the mailing list as opposed to asked for all of my contact info prior to ringing me up. In a small shop like this, I didn’t know if it was a requirement of sorts for the transaction because it wasn’t mentioned to me what the info was for. Overall, this shop definitely has a niche — there aren’t many places that specialize in some more unique women’s gifty items as well as serve a light fare amidst a patio. I’m glad this shop exists, and I like that they have a Unilocal promo. I’d return if I was in the area.

I do all my gift shopping for my wife at the white butterfly because the staff is very, very helpful in picking out just the right gift. Stopped there yesterday for a Mother’s Day gift and walked into the attached café and had the WB sampler and it was terrific. Topped it off with a vanilla bean coffee tonic. I recommend both the gift shop to all the men out there for hassle free shopping and the café for their delicious food and specialty coffees. AAA+++

Their website claims they have a huge selection of Alex & Ani bracelets. I just left after seeing a display rack of 4 bracelets. The rack was bare except for those four. This was my first and last time coming to this establishment. Waste of gas!

I don’t know about the gift shop, but the food at the café is barely edible. I don’t know how they got these other 5 star reviews, but clearly we must be from different planets — no, make that different universes. The food is so amateurishly prepared that one has to question how they have the nerve to charge for it. It makes me wonder if they taste their own preparations. They should stick to boutiques and not venture into the culinary realm. Ordered the roasted red pepper soup that was the consistency of library paste, and may just have been. The color of it was a scary day glow orange. It came with Italian bread that had to be a few days old. When I asked the waitress for fresh bread, she said«no problem. I ‘ll have them cut some more». Well, you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out what she bought out next: more of the same stale bread. I was just not in the mood to argue, so I discarded it. But it shows a lack of caring, integrity, or whatever you want to call it. Next came the“crepes”, as theyre referred to here. Three odd sized rolled up pieces of dough(too thick to be even remotely considered«crepes») that were on the verge of falling apart. There were three to an order, and I selected three different fillings. The mash in each was practically indistinguishable from the others. I didn’t eat them all because they had a disgusting cloying after taste. I am not joking when I tell you that I had to stop at a pizzeria to get a slice in order to get the taste out of my mouth. If there were a taste police, it should be illegal to charge for this crap.

This hidden gem in the middle of NJ reminds me of the time I spent in Italy stumbling across little cafes on my ventures through Milan. While I didn’t get the employees names, they were extremely nice and welcoming. They suggested an apple pie cronut(a mix between a croissant and donut) and I got an espresso macchiato. True to espresso form, it was a shot with a honey cream on top. The perfect snack on a chilly winter day in Jersey! I would suggest this place to anyone who wants to relax in a great atmosphere over some coffee and dessert. But they have menu options as well that serve throughout the day and evening. Their main seating it outside, amongst heaters for all year round accommodations, and even a few seats inside NJ’s #1 Gift Shop! I’ve been wanting to stop by here for a while now and I’m really glad I did.

We had the perfect morning at the outdoor café. Tom assured us it would we warm. He made a 30 degree day feel like Spring. We enjoyed delicious lattes and bakes goods. We will be back with BYOB.

A gift store that is a great addition to the area. You have to travel a distance to find a similar store. They are nicely stocked with items to give. The staff is attentive. The downside here, is the breathability of the store due to the fragrance of some of the gift items. Not a store for anyone with breathing issues.

A charming, romantic slice of café heaven in the middle of Jackson NJ. You know a great amount of time and attention went into making this outdoor wonderland complete with sofas, fire pits and great food. There is is even live music on the weekends. And don’t worry about the chilly nights, the heaters will be on. Perfect for a meal or just coffee and dessert. Before you leave, make sure you check out the boutique gift shop. My new favorite happy place.
