Ok their Jenny Lake lager is absolutely crisp refreshing with Amber hues, light and palate pleasing. Even bought 6packs to bring back to Oregon. This was difficult to rate the food because my Bison burger was on the bland side, unimpressed. But my friend had the Smoked Salmon Cakes for an appetizer and we have never tasted something so amazing! Oh and there’s a reason that their Bison Chili is award winning — this is a must order! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food and drinks arrive promptly.

I like beer and I like the wilderness, so this brewery was a good choice for our one and only night in Jackson Hole. Facts: * You can either sit upstairs or downstairs and either inside or outside. If you want a nice view while you eat/drink, see if you can be seated outside on the second floor. * There is a separate menu with drinks, mainly beers, and their regular menu has a number of entrees. * Parking can be a bit rough thanks to this place’s popularity. However, there is some street parking at the back of the building. As for me, my beer of choice was their Rolling Thunder Dortmunder. German beer is always great at hitting the spot and this beer came through for me well. I ordered the margherita pizza for my dinner. It was pretty good, except some of the crust was burnt. Scott, our waiter, did a good job at checking up on us. So if you want a nice, cold brew with a killer view, then this is the place. 4 stars

The peach chorizo pizza pushed this review from 4-stars to 5-stars. The food was excellent. We were there with our kids, and shared a couple pizzas. I especially like the peach chorizo pizza. It was really unique, and the flavors worked well together. The beer was great. I had their Lager and also an IPA, and both were great. Also, I’m a big fan of foosball. They have a nice table upstairs that was great to kill some time on while we waited for our food. We were there at lunchtime on a day when many of the other options in Jackson were pretty full. They had plenty of space, and we were seated without a wait.

Great atmosphere – love the smell of beer brewing! And the view of the ski mountain was fantastic. I had the beer sampler so that I could try 8⁄10 beers on tap. Loved the Rolling Thunder and the easy rider ESB. So, now to the food. I read a few posts that said it was«pub food.» That is far from an adequate description. We had the bison burger, the roper, the Smokin Mac, and the trout. All were fantastic. Worth the time to stop in as you are heading into the park!

We went in for lunch had a pitcher of the Jenny lake larger and that’s what beer is suppose to taste like. Then we ordered an app and the three kinds of sausage was unbelievable good then we ordered the main course we split the beet salad and wow and the Bolognese was out of this world. Our waitress Casey was great she recommended the hole thing. Thanks Casey for the great lunch we will see you again soon. Perry

Great food, quick delivery of food, but terrible service. After appetizer was dropped off we asked for two small plates. After about 15 minutes or so the main courses were delivered by someone else then our waiter(Eric E) and still no extra plates. Wife and I both finished our meals and drinks and the waiter NEVER checked on us. The last time our waiter came over was when he took our main course order. The worst service I have had in along time. Would not come back and would not recommend this place to anyone, unless they were taking the meal to-go.

The best brewery I have ever been too. We walked in and were instantly seated up stairs in a window view table. The server came over and we order the wings and pretzel to start of. The food was out fast and super tasty. I got a burger and a side of their famous chilli. It was the best and tried the hefeweizen beer that was tasty also.

Really had a terrific experience at The Snake! That’s what all the locals call it(I assume). We had the beer flight which featured 9 of the local brews in 5oz glasses for $ 18. The food was good, not great, but the atmosphere, view and delicious beers easily made up for anything else that was lacking.

After a full day of traveling to Jackson it was finally time for a solid beer and some food. Snake River Brewing was just what the doctor ordered! We walked in and were greeted by friendly staff who seated is right us right away! The vibe in there is very industrial which was super cool!!! All of the table tops were clean, the space was overall very inviting. Once we sat and looked over the menu, my wife and I ordered a flight of beers(which I always recommend doing) and pretty much loved every beer we tried. After our flight of beer arrived we put an in an order for a Margherita Pizza and a Bison Burger thinking it would take a awhile for the food to arrive BUT!!! Before we could even get through trying our flight, the food showed up, hot and ready!!! You guys, our food came out of the kitchen 7 minutes after ordering!!! It was epic!!! Overall, I highly recommend this Snake River Brewing/Brewpub to anyone and everyone!

I had the brisket with bacon sandwich and a Dortmundon Pilsner(ok, three pilsners). Both were delicious. Service was good and the staff was friendly. Casual atmosphere, not uptight(like the rest of Jackson can be).

Great menu! I wish I could try everything. I had a cup of chili and my husband had the Buffalo burger with smoked gouda and chipotle sauce. The chili was really good! Very filling. Spicy, cheesy. My husband was having an food-gasm everytime he took a bite. He loved it! The service sucked. The guy took forever to do anything l and another waiter was observant enough to ask us if he could help us a couple times. He even had to tell the kid to go get our check. Sometimes a laid-back atmosphere translates into something too laid back. We’ll visit again and try the roper.

Seriously, if you haven’t been here, you’re totally missing an amazing brewery among JH’s bar scene. Great beer, great food, stunning views from the patio, and a very pleasant staff. Go! What are you waiting for???

A «must visit» in Jackson Hole. Sublime beer, delicious food, excellent service, need I say more?!? Our only regret is that we weren’t able to return to the brewery again during our trip… but we will be back.

I really enjoy this brewery! They always have really tasty beers and the food is great too! I’ve enjoyed every beer I’ve had here. Today my husband had the California pizza and it was incredible. The goat cheese on it really made it sublime. The pizza was loaded with toppings and hard to eat, but absolutely delicious. The mesquite wings were smoky and flavorful. In the past we really enjoyed the roper — my husband declared it one of the best sandwiches ever. Needless to say, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. The brewery is way laid back, but service is great. They have really cool merchandise(hats, glasses, shirts) and sell the beer here too! If you like good brewery style food and beer — try this place! You won’t regret it.

As brewpubs go, this one ranks highly! The menu has a lot of excellent and creative options, plus the beers are quite good as well! I stopped in for an early lunch on a crappy weather day that kept me off the mountain… so why not checkout the local brewery, right?!? I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice and welcoming bar area with wood burning fire. The menu had a bunch of delicious sounding options. My first option was the trout cakes, but sadly the delivery of frying oil hadn’t made it in, so went to the backup of wild game chili — tasty! Was still a little hungry so opted for the steak street tacos which had some awesome flavor to them! Pair that all up with a sampler of their beers and I’d call that a good way to spend the lunch hour on a lousy weather day! I’d very much recommend the stout — delicious!

This is a cool place with a fun atmosphere, that serves great beer! Being from expensive D.C., we were blown away by the beer flights — VERY generous pours for a reasonable price. The sample glasses are double the size of what you would usually see on a sample tray in D.C. The husband and I played a fun game where we secretly ranked the beers and then compared — Pakitos IPA, Zonker’s Stout and the Porter all ranked very highly for both of us. Service was surprisingly prompt for how crowded it was, and the bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed looking at the brewing equipment outside. This is a great place to pound back a few and relax after a long day of doing outdoor activities in Jackson Hole, and it absolutely hit the spot for us.

I didn’t have time to stop in, but they sell a variety of their microbrews for only $ 1.50 per 12oz can to go(take away). Their«Zonker» stout is dark, smooth, and rich… perfect for a cold winter night.

I’ve been to alot of ski towns, and I’ve been to alot of breweries, so I never expect anything really special. I was especially astonished to find a friendly brewery serving delicious, satisfying food in the Yellowstone /Jackson Hole area, one of the most touristy ski towns I’ve ever been to. * Sausage Sampler — 3 stars: A bit too gamey for me, but worth a shot if you like sausage. * Burger — 3.5 stars: Brioche bun, huge, delicious and kind of what you might expect. * Bolognese — 4.5 stars: Rich, creamy and hits the spot. For those unafraid of calorie bombs. My favorite entrée of the night. * Wild Game Chili — 3.5 stars: Good, standard. * Smores Dessert — 4.5 stars: Sounds boring, but you MUSTORDER this unique version of a smore. I don’t even like smores that much but this was sooo delicious. * Tiramisu — 3 stars: Oddly enough, I love tiramisu but thought this was boring and passable. Overall, if you’re in Jackson Hole, definitely stop by Snake River Brewing for a tasty meal!
