Reed Pierce’s Sportman’s Grill

On sundays, they have 3 dollar mimosas until 6. Very very spacious and comfortable with quite a few pool tables if you are into shooting pool while enjoying the game on many of the larger TV’s. I stumbled upon this place actually and would absolutely go back.

The first time my husband and I came through Byram we tried this place the food and band was great but the service was so bad. We decided to try it again and we got a young lady named Samantha (it’s what our ticket said her name was) she was really nice and knew her menu and all about each dish. She recommend the reeds 3 meal it was amazing. While we were there we notice her at other tables and she was just as great! It also seemed that she had a lot more tables then anyone else. She was running the whole place even a huge table by the pool tables. Anyways what I am trying to say is this girl is probably the best waitress we have ever had anywhere, and is the reason we will continue to come back. Anyone that goes here needs to see if she is working and sit in her section! She made up for the bad service last time

This is a great place !!! Best pool tables around and the food is awesome !!! They always have a great band on the weekends too !!! If u want great food and drinks and great place to relax this is ur place !!! And also some history here as well !!! Reed was a 9 ball pool champion !!! Come check them out and leave ur review

Great place to catch games and have a drink, food is good although on the pricey side. The service is great and the staff is super friendly but if you go on the weekend be prepared to wait awhile for a table inside. Bands can be a little to loud if you want to talk but they do have an outdoor seating area that is quieter. They have a great lunch on the weekday I would highly recommend. As the only sports bar in Byram I go at least once a month.

After arriving in Jackson (Byram) I was looking for a good place to eat. This place was recommend by the locals. If I have found this place on my own I probably would haven’t stayed to eat since the front door takes you into the pool hall section. The restaurant is farther in the back. I did notice a nice patio when leaving, not sure why they didn’t offer that as a seating choice.
The food is very good, I had the Oyster Po’ Boy with in-​house cut onion rings. My wife had the salmon with grilled veggies which also tasted fresh.
I’ll go back the next time I’m in Jackson (Byram)

Discovered Reed’s during the Skylar Laine American Idol viewing parties! Great local folks supporting one of Mississippi’s own! The staff were always cheerful and helpful! Big Screen TV in large room with big fireplace… I plan on coming back in the winter so I can stand in front of the fire :) Other TVs all over the place. Food was great too!

Best sports bar in That shithole Jackson, ms. They carry Nfl’s Sunday ticket! It’s about 10 min south of downtown but worth the drive. Huge sports bar with big screens and lots of billiards. Food is excellent here try one of their mouth watering steaks. Never had a bad meal and staff and owner were awesome. First class treatment!
