Jersey Smokes

Local cigar shop to me. A lot to pick from. Lounge size is a good size. Owner is always friendly, welcomes everyone that comes in.

Good selections of all well known brands and some hard to find. Also a very friendly atmosphere and always a nice conversation with other patrons … All the things you want from a cigar shop.

Great local cigar shop. The larger storefront and lounge are a nice step up. Good selection, including there own house blend cigar.

I’m rather new to cigar smoking so a lot of this is new to me naturally, aside from advice and recommendations given to me from fellow cigar smokers and my father.
Jersey Smokes is relatively new to Romeo’s Plaza, and they have a very good selection considering their size. They have everything from cutters of various types, a broad selection of cigars from Montecristo to Rocky Patel, humidors, butane lighters, hookahs, etc.
They have a nice mini-​lounge as soon as you enter with a decent sized wall-​mounted hdtv usually playing some sort of sports. The store owner is real nice and unlike some of the other owners I have met at different stores, this guy knows his products and obviously is in the business for a reason, not because it is a «job.» Again, because I am rather new to cigars, I frequently ask him for recommendations and he has definitely helped me develop my cigar palate.
It’d be nice if they had a bigger lounge area, I see a lot of people love to go to shops with these, but maybe the smaller storefront is a better thing right now. Reason being is that I find the prices in Jersey Smokes to be extremely competitive to what I see online. Plus, you don’t have to pay shipping and you have the product in your hand immediately. Hopefully it stays this way!
The one annoyance is that you can only buy individual cigars — no samplers or by the box.
The amount of money you spend in this store is entirely dependent on how much you intend to smoke.
