Rolled down from my usual STL micro-brew haunt to check out this place that kept flashing up in my UNTAPPD app. This family-owned and operated brewery is in a tiny place a bit North of Cape Girardeau, just a tad off I-55. Tasting room is unpretentious and comfortable, with an adjacent home-brew supply section. The brewery itself has been around since 2003, so not new to the game. Tasting flights of 4 are available for 4 bucks. Growler fills available as well(11-ish, I think). We sampled all 8 of their current offerings from a quaffable blonde to a substantial chocolate stout. Very strong line !

Well I guess I’m the first to review this place and am pleased to do so. I moved back to Jackson a short time ago and stumbled on this brewery(the only one in SEMO), which is located just five minutes from my house. Lucky me! Excellent beers on tap and competitively priced especially considering that you’re getting real beer that is real fresh. The tap room atmosphere is nothing to rave about, but after a couple of porters, you don’t really care. Location is tucked away off of HWY61 just north of Jackson. Five stars only if they hire some Hooter’s girls to serve the brew.
